If speed doesn’t solve a problem, more speed will. That appears to be the motto of world powers every few decades. From subsonic to supersonic to hypersonic and to Sonic the hedgehog, anytime the invincibility of a military force was questioned, higher speeds have always been the answer. And it’s no different today. World powers, China and the United States, are at loggerheads with each other, battling it out for the crown. Like clockwork, the two nations, backed by trillion-dollar economies, have set their goals on the one speed category yet to be conquered - hypersonic speeds.
Moving at hypersonic speeds means moving at least one mile per second, which is outrageously fast. Throw maneuverability into the mix and world powers have military assets that are truly unstoppable. But there’s a huge dilemma that they must solve first. Hypersonic speeds are so invincible that they can multiply a military’s might in various ways. China has focused on hypersonic missiles that air defense systems cannot stop as they fly towards their targets while the US has its eyes on hypersonic fighter jets that air defense systems cannot stop as they fly close enough to launch conventional weapons. Both paths are quite formidable but up against each other, which would win? China’s hypersonic missiles or America’s hypersonic jets.

Russia is in the final stage of producing a new fighter jet. It`s not larger than the SU35 but has the ability to in the air extract hydrogen from the surrounding air for fuel which makes it possible for the craft to take on more fire power.

Twice as fast as the SR-71 is not mach 6, folks. Just so you know......the SR-71 is much faster than mach 3. The missiles it outran went mach 3.

You are dead wrong! Do your research before you tout shit you do not know. Don't get me wrong this video was full of misinformation I want to clear up as well. But the SR 71 was MOST DEFINITELY a hypersonic jet. It's top speed is actually still classified, but after attending several of it's pilots speeches, you would know that it has topped over Mach 6 itself prolly closer to Mach 7. That makes it hypersonic. If you do not know look up the pilots. There were 100 pilots to fly this badass jet. The technology that went into it is still amazing today even though it was created in 1961. That is mind-blowing. It has been retired since 1990 when it flew its last flight from CA to the Smithsonian museum and broke 3 top flight records in that flight alone. All in all, you are wrong, it is hypersonic and still to this day the fastest, most amazing jet flown by a human pilot ever to graze our planets skies. If you want to check it out just look up Pat Halleran or Brian Shull. 2 of the most decorated and amazing pilots ever.
I also want to say that this jet was never a fighter jet. It was created strictly for recon, to gather intel and that is exactly what it did. It is undefeated as it has been fired at by enemies with missles several times and they always blew up 10 miles behind the jet as they could not come close to it. Also, there was 1 time they tested putting guns on this jet and the tests failed because the jet flew so flipping fast that it was running into its own bullets that they shot. WHAT! That is insane, but yet again, proves that the thing is hypersonic.
I don't mean to put you on blast, but this is the most amazing aircraft ever built and it deserves all the credit and attributions that it has achieved, hypersonic speeds being one of them. So do some research and you will be in the know. It is amazing and best of all it's American made!!! God Bless!

So don't tell me to do research, when I have and mach 6 is not posted any fuckin where. If you got inside information that's great. Show me something that says it went over mach 5 and I'll agree it's hypersonic
