Happy Father's Day.....Bunch Y Flex on offense and Dime 236 on defense to start 25 for me...I like a CB in the middle of field...also I don't mind not having streaks on outside of trips because I prefer deep post routes to clear deep zones more than streaks...streaks keep deep zones by sidelines and the post pulls them more inside imo

i think my fear with option routes is that they might not be consistent in how they move, so you can't depend on them in combos, which is the problem with them currently imo

I believe option routes do work as intended. They will choose a certain route based off the leverage of their defender. If the defender has inside leverage, the receiver will go out and vice versa. I've got a few option plays I run that are consistent as long as you run it against specific coverages
