For the first part: If anyone has trouble shooting the boat stuff... the coin is not required. Replace the coin in your loadout with a container and sieger 300 ghost sniper inside, before you climb the ladder, drop the briefcase in the corner where you will wait anyway, then proceed as usual.

Question:
1) I set up the Maelstorm - Vanya meeting and shoot them from outside the station on their feet (yes there's a gap that allow you to do that) and then snipe Dawood while posting for the paint, it doesn't count as sniper assassination.
2) I go through all the lengths of the Keshmerian sniping but always got caught when sniping Vanya when she speaks on the bridge.
What went wrong =.= ???

Thanks. The only thing I've changed in the first run was using sniper rifle to shoot down the boat. It's much easier to aim and coins are not needed in this mission anyway.
Coins aren't really needed in any level, not when you can just pick up a bunch of shit to throw as distractions instead. I always prefer to take the lockpick instead.

Mr.Freeze from a Hitman fan to another you show to be more straight and simple than I, so more clever. I think you are the best Hitman channel on youtube.
I feel the problem with the snipers now is that a lot of places don't really have proper vantage points.
Also I do find it weird they have the ability to figure out exactly where the shot came from, like maybe a general vicinity after they look at the corpse and see where the bullet entered but just immediate is stupid.
I also find this very annoying a year later and sometimes they start shooting at you and act like they have spotted you even though they actually haven't

I've killed the mailstrom using that glass at that house a million times but I've never once noticed the ladder right next to it that you climbed up...not in a million years would I ever have seen that, getting to that location has always been so difficult for me, not anymore lol. I like the use of the old school age of empires nod with the BGM. 👍

For those trying to find the maelstrom, you can get a picture of him from a npc and shoot the cart of propane tanks near the hideout house entrance . A civilian will run in and when everything cools down you can look and identify him.
Pretty sure a chamber pot is a bowl like thing that was kept in a bed to urinate at night before flush toilets and indoor plumbing. Great video I've been looking forward to it

Great video, Mr. Freeze! You’ve been a godsend on both seasons! I found a couple minor ways to make the sniper assassin challenge even easier! If you take the stairs that look like a train platform at the start of the mission, there’s a chest high wall to the left of the fenced guard checkpoint you can use to bypass it. You’ll come across two guards watching TV on the way to Freeze’s rooftop vantage point. Behind those guards, you can find another brick, so you don’t have to shoot the ladder. After taking out the maelstrom, I found two fish on the dock. I used them to lure the fisherman to some tall grass and incapacitate him there. I made a save, put the brick in the kiln, and walked to the barge to take the shot on Rangan, then I went back to the dock to take the shot on Shah and I was right by the exit.
On point as always. Using the poison and boat were brilliantly simple. For sniper, I had trouble with the two quick shots. Anyone else having trouble can split them up. After dropping the brick in the fire, continue through the garage toward the train tracks and stay to the left around the corner. You can catch her coming out of the train yard. Then run to the crows nest and take out the last target as he comes around the back corner of his building.

Stupid easy SASO, especially if you start at the Boat. Did it in 5:14 on Professional so I tried it on Master (my first Master SASO) and got 5:03. Thanks again for the guides.
I actually pulled off a silent assassin AND suit only WITH the sniper rifle, that WASN'T silent.
...
Of course I carefully took out a lot of guards in their areas, hid them in places no one will look and took over an hour and a half to pull off, but the point is, you can pull off all three extreme modes here in Mumbai on Master difficulty.
Now, I may have done the impossible, taking hours to do, but you did them WAY under that, and that I praise. I enjoy your take on this challenge, and if you or anyone wants to know how I pulled off Silent Assassin/Suit only/Sniper rifle on Master mode, feel free to ask here.
No matter what, I will continue to check out you hitman videos on whether I'm stuck on something, and/or to see your take on the challenge. So well done here on arguably the toughest map so far. :)

You have NO fucking idea how much I've needed this video.
The strat on identifying the Maelstrom was pretty helpful and significant. But the approach during the sniper assassin part was kinda shoddy. That was my initial approach as well but I had more success by sniping Vanya standing on top of the shipping container in the trainyard.
For the accident aka. boat on head you can walk up the stairs not far from the actual boat itself. Up to the first landing in the middle of the stairs, not the top level where a trespassing area with guards is. When you are crouched and leaning at the low wall when shooting you won't be spotted because no npc has line of sight there, albeit a crow on top of the stairs might hear something and walk to investigate.

First of all that intro is dope as fuck. I know you’ve heard that probably hundreds of times but that’s awesome. Second.. I find myself going back to get a certain mastery on a level so I can use the same things you do😂. Even though I have something comparable already. And I use your videos for those as well. Keep it up man.. great content.
for the first method, couldn't you place an explosive (breaching charge) on the side of the boat preemptively and then detonate it when they are underneath?
Yes. Pretty good idea. You'd have to take out the guards on the roof though because they'll see it
@@MrFreeze2244 not if you use micro explosive instead. Catching a gap between rooftop guard's' patrol route is easy, so you can place the bomb undetected and explode it without any casualties
@@mrjt6404 well, I haven't played hitman for a while now, so I don't remember anything really) but from the looks of it, the moving guard doesn't get close to the left side of the boat, so he won't be hit by the blast if you place explosive close to the boat. The sitting one will not notice you from the side too.

You could do it with the kashmirian's silenced sniper rifle if you have a briefcase to stash it in snipe dawood from the boat exit snipe the malestrom from the train yard and snipe Vanya from the train cart behind her hideout, and run like hell from guards, but good vid

Easiest mission by far. Got it the first time. I was mastery level 13 when I tried Silent Assassin and got enough points to take me to lvl 20. No need for the sniper points
It's better to use silverballer for this, it makes shooting the boat holder a lot easier and the guards near the flag won't hear sliverballer being fired if 47 shoots it from the staircase even on master.

I was so close to being done with this but you didn't mention we had to go on the thing on the roof before they got there I was thinking we shoot the boat again. Now I can't get anything to go right!

There is a brick one alley before the one you turn down to get to the locked door at the very beginning. Super easy, since you're dodging the enforcers anyway

If you are having troubles with sniper assassin: Dont take the boat exit. I got caught twice trying to take it, once by the guards near Vanyah's body searching the area, once because sniping is so damn buggy, the couple having a chat near the docks both saw me run up, suddenly went into panic mode with !'s, and I suddenly got "Crime Noticed, Compromised" to pop up (they were not orange in instinct mode either) they noticed me shoot Vanyah, after I had already shot her when I didnt even have the rifle anymore, like some weird delay triggered by me walking near them. I feel like this stems from that "they automatically know where you are" script sniping has, it feels like that script is buggy as hell. (IE, all of Colorado :| )

Yes there are still the rewards but no u dont get to keep it u have to earn it again

Great job Freeze. If you Sniped the Maelstrom unobserved and then arranged things so the Kashmirion took out the other two targets for you, would that count as Siletn Assassin/Sniper assassin?

Look, I'd just like to say this: Fuck. Mumbai. It is EASILY the most buggy mission with the least amount of QA done on it. I have NPCs seeing me through walls, guards coming from over 50m away DIRECTLY to me once I've silently knocked a guard out (I literally knocked a guard out and watched through instinct mode as one of these broken guards walked to me, I jumped through a window so he stopped and then repathed to where I was at NOW, then kept doing that shit until he either died or got right to me), police becoming suspect of me for doing nothing because I'm through several walls yet they somehow SEE me, and other ridiculous crap. This map is so horribly coded, and has way too many bugs that make smooth gameplay frustratingly difficult. I'm SO glad to get the hardest challenges done with. Thanks for your help Mr. Freeze. Once again, Fuck Mumbai.
I actually did get silent assassin with a sniper, but it is not very interesting. You need to pacify/kill Maelstorm up the in the empty house where he is preparing for the meeting (and hide his body very fast, because guard). Can also eliminate Vanya by distracting her first, same place where she could be electrocuted. The third one is harder because you need to distract guards first with weapons on the bridge I think. Other usual means include mass pacifications and bathrooms. But on this map this is beyond boring. :)
You can sniper the Maelstrom from the bottom of the ladder after raising the flag. You only have a moment to do it though.
There's a brick on the Crow Roof near where the two thugs are cooking
Help. How can you tell which one is the "real" Mealstrom? I shot 7 civilians because they were walking about as fast as the dude in your video. Is there a way to snipe him during his meeting with the lady, where you previously poisoned him? that would be awesome!

I was just playing Mumbai - Chasing a Ghost and I had the punch glitch happen to me on roof of the Crows gang. :( I was trying a different strategy. I haven't experienced the punch glitch on Hitman 2 as much as Hitman 2016. Have a good day. :)
I'm trying to do Sniper Assassin and while it seems ok for the Maelstrom (though with a different method) and Vanya, I have an issue with Rangan: when going to the meeting, he's closely followed by three guards that I don't see in the video. Has this been changed since may or am I missing something?
What's his guards got to do with anything if it's sniper assassin you're trying to do
My bad, I thought that the "unnoticed shot" part failed when guards noticed the kill, i.e. that body found was ok but if guards converged to 47's position it meant that the challenge failed. I didn't see it pop after killing Dragan next to his guards and exiting the mission, so I thought it had failed because of that, but it appears that I unlocked it.
Sorry for the confusion.
Freeze i have a query man, i got 1 of the challenges bugged named "feeding the birds" in mumbai challenges. I cleared it but the game still shows it incomplete (although it popped in-game). Have you found a workaround for this?

@@MrFreeze2244 i watched your that video, searched for more one thinking you would have made other one giving workaround (usually you tell all work around or alternate method inside the video) didnt find any. So i thought same thing that you may be unaware of the issue. Otherwise you would have worked on the issue. Thanks man. Please try to look on it if you still have hitman 2 with you. (This issue is resolved if you have hitman 3, so would be able to do it there).

I actually got silent assassin suit only using the Kashmirian I let him kill vanya and dawood before I went to the spot where he meets the maelstrom and then I killed the maelstrom and then just ran to the nearest exit another easy method you could use although you’ll have to be quick since there’s no locker to hide his body in the room he goes to

this isnt related to this vid but do you ever have problems sprinting in this game for some reason i have to keep moving in a zig zag motion just to keep sprinting i hold down left bumper(xbox) but it just goes back to walking randomly just curious if you ever have this problem

I did this by dropping a cage on Vanya Shah and then dropping the giant cylinder on Maelstrom and Rangan

For the sniper assassin part, there's no need to climb up and get the brick. Follow the same route as Freeze, but head right at 5:40 and you'll see a brick just before the bridge. Proceed as follows for the rest of the mission, and it's now much quicker and safer.
