Aphids go hard mid summer here, we use neem oil too. I got a hand vac this year for them too haha bring it on. You talked me into trying cowpeas might as well
I've never had luck with neem oil plus I have never found anything concrete (scientific research) actually showing it's effective. The best thing I've used to eradicate aphids is plain old dish soap mixed in a spray bottle with water (16 ounces). Cheap and effective

Thanks for the tips. Yeah I wouldn’t say the neem oil did a whole lot last year. I’ll try the Soapy water thing.
They say leaves are eatable
Maybe, I would research that. I’m not 100% sure one way or another honestly.. I know regular peas are, but many beans are not. So not sure.
