However, HOW did we were last with the most visual and unique staging/performance, with the most complex vocals with THE UK or POLAND above us? 💀😭
Ukraine and Moldova get praise for bringing folk while we got nothing...
That's why I loved this and Moldova. As a pure romanian-moldovian descandant, who grew up there mostly, they gave pure folklore too. Norway gave that vibe too, but not as epic as those 2. They were few of the best performances, aside of Australia, Cyprus, Estonia, Israel and a few more. Finland was fun and very entertaining, but it's a "good vibe" level song.
Thing is, this was by far the worst song in the Final. It does not fucking matter if it's "creative or "folkloric", if it's shit it's shit.

There was a time this song was announced and I listened to it every day (it reminded me of folk music from my country, India). Now after the contest, every time I listen to it, I get ptsd over those 5 televotes...

Yeah PERSONALLY I don't think so.
They should have semifinals with jury votes only and instead of eliminating 5, they should choose 5 from each. And then have a final of 15 finalists with a winner chosen just by the public. ✌️

Too bad her outfit looked so out of place there and really took the attention off the performance. If this is a folcloric song, she don't have to look like she bought her outfit at some ZARA shop. At least her dancers was wearing outfits that matched the song.

I wasn't surprised to see the televote, I'm Spanish but I didn't like how the song sounded at all, so anti-climatic, no drop, no climax moment, same tone. Non-spanish speakers may not have understood a word from she sang
