I can't convince myself to get a premium cube. How will someone know exactly how I want my cube to feel? I would rather just buy the lube and take the time to get it just right for me, especially since there is a great deal of variety in spring types, setting, magnet strength etc.
Winter Summers premium is meant for people that would like the cube to be set up for them. Many people do not know how to set up cubes at all, so it is hard for them to set it up to your exact specifications, but you can always make adjustments afterwards
Winter Summers yeah I like customizable premium cubes, so I switched to CubedLabz
You can use Cubicle Custom to set it up exactly the way you want it if you’re used to setting up your own cubes or you can buy the Labs and let Chris or whoever decide the best way to lube it

If only the TheCubicle allowed their premium gan X( Angstrom, custom) to be customised by you. Eg. they have a button for you to type in the strength of the magnet and the colour of the ges and the tightness you want and they will put it in before they lube and set it up for you

My cubicle proshop and labs cubes don't come gummy, they're always dry. There's literally no lube at all.

Buy my car, it's kind of a Toyota but I put special petrol in it and adjusted the seats to my liking so I've rebranded it Angstrom.
Cool, if you did all the labor and supplied the seats and special petrol and shined it back up, I'm sure the extra price is justified in your eyes :)

Long time viewer, recent subscriber and recent commenter here. I just ordered this cube ! I can’t wait to get it. I’ve been solving on a three dollar Duncan brand and Rubik’s speed cube with Rubik’s brand silicone lube for over two years (gross I know right ?) I’m going to be happy to get away from the Rubik’s brand because of the lawsuit with the cubicle. Rubik’s will still stay in my heart as the cube that started it all for me but I can’t stand for them trying to downgrade the Cubicle. I have been following the work of the Cubicle for years just never had the intention of speed solving until now. Phil and all the employees there have done wonders for the cubing community and Im happy to finally order my first cube from them. Much love Dan, keep up the great work we all appreciate your content.

Yes I have one it’s white plastic, has a red, orange, blue, green, yellow and white sticker scheme. It’s about the same size as a Rubik’s cube, has springs and a blue core. When I try to speed solve or corner cut too much one of the center caps pops off haha.
Same, I put vaseline In mine and it is really gummy and corner twists when i turn fast lol

@@crazybadcuber the normal one is not the angstrom.=, althought when i went to check they did make is abit less expensive (not sale but semi premanentstsnetan) it was 65 then 75 now 70
So what exactly is the difference between buying the angstrom vs buying a cubicle custom and having it set up like the angstrom?
ummm, I don't think there would be a difference to be honest. I guess on Angstrom one, it's set up specifically with specific magnets, nuts and lubes, where as the Custom one you can ask for different nuts and lubes.
@@crazybadcuber My question at that point is why put the angstrom name on it? I feel like cubicle custom in that case has essentially replaced most of what angstrom does for the most part. I would personally like to see more unique things coming from angstrom like the boron, dyan and polymer coated/treated cubes. I just checked out Chris Trans CZcams channel though and it looks like hes working on some pretty cool stuff as usual.
@@melty_1000 The Angstrom is pre-determined. Cubicle Custom is YOUR customization preferences, not the Cubicles. I hope that clears it up :)

I prefer SCS as i wanted to buy my first cubes from cubicle and delivery was 20$... (i live in europe, thats why it is expensive) Scs offered me 14$ for my delivery which is a huge difference.
I also think SCS has better service (Cosmic, Supernova) as cubes dont come gummy and slow like angstrom comes. Cosmic breaks it in partially for you so it saves some time.
(still havent ordered from Cubicle, delivery still expensive lol.)

Cubicle cubes are overpriced and overlubed. Angstrong cubes especially. If you dont set up your own cube, you arent a cuber.
