I really appreciate that the ending is completely open for interpretation. This movie was already a solid 10/10 all the way through, but when the movie ended, it immediately superseded my already high regard.

It really, really won't actually. Like...don't get me wrong, it looks like a pretty damn good drama, but gay white boy dramas are a dime a dozen these days. I mean...everyone thought Brokeback Mountain was going to be something truly groundbreaking, but when I say the name "Heath Ledger," most people just think "Oh hey the guy that died after playing The Joker in Dark Knight."
You gotta be pretty young if most people you say "Heath Ledger" to think he was just the guy who died playing the Joker. Brokeback Mountain was a pretty huge deal, and people even still reference and quote it: "I wish I knew how to quit you!" Funny thing, this is the second comment I've seen in the past few weeks that somehow reduces Mr. Ledger's legacy/impact. One said he was the worst Joker and not even scary and didn't deserve his Oscar (though most people who saw it in theatres at the time were blown away), and now yours saying people only know him as "the guy who died that time." I honestly think it's because people who were really young when he died are now teens/young adults and honestly don't know. But, yeah, I don't think most adults have this small of a view of Mr. Ledger. Although I do agree with your point about gay white boy dramas being overdone. (To be fair, at the time of Brokeback Mountain, there were few queer movies/movies with prominent queer characters, and even fewer in the mainstream, so Brokeback did kind of break a small barrier. I don't think it's gotten extremely better since then, but I've definitely seen more inclusion of queer characters in the decade since Brokeback. I just also wish there would be more queer POC and gender diversity, as well.)

For everyone who is asking where you can see it, this is an indie film so not every theater will show it, most won't. You other have to go to a Film Festival or I forget what they are called but most major cities have them. It's a type of theaters that only show indie films. Anyways, you can check on the movies website on where you can see it or even host your own screening. I know for a fact Seattle has one and that Toronto does, other than that I'm not sure. I hope this helps anyone who is confused though.

Gracie Elizabeth im not so good at explaining things but basically Jack (the one with the dark brown hair) lives with his mom and then she meets a dude who has a son, which is Charlie Heaton's character (i forgot his name lol). and they like fall in love, but Charlie's character is scared and his dad's abusive. and the girl is someone they become friends with at school.
