AGREED! Yaya Dacosta should at least been an honorable mention. She was in the movie, "In Time" with Justin Timberlake. She played Whitney Houston in the Whitney Houston movie on Lifetime for crying out loud!
This was a sloppy list MsMojo! You’re going to include Whitney & Lisa but leave out Jaslene completely and only give Nicole Linkletter and honorable mention?
This list is totally inaccurate. Whitney's jobs dried up after like two years, she stopped modeling and runs a restaurant now. Adrinne C was broke, didn't receive her prizes, struggled to book jobs, now lives in the middle of Montana selling Avon online. Most of the winners didn't do much after their initial year or two of winning, and the most success came from girls who *didn't* win and were able to distance themselves from the show, usually after changing their names and never, ever mentioning it.
I didn’t know she didn’t receive her prize…I remember her saying it was all a lie and Tyra came out and said it’s your job to book and keep the jobs…something like that…I didn’t really pay attention to it…
I know that I am old because posting on social media a lot (having a "strong Instagram presence") does not automatically equate to being successful in my mind.
I don't necessarily remember most of the girls, including Yoanna, but her final photoshoot picture has stayed with me through the years. Its absolutely gorgeous

Saleisha will always be one of my most hated contestants. She may have had a great walk and personality, but her portfolio was lackluster to say the least. Also, there was clear nepotism.
Keith and Lisa made it on the list but Nicole L. is only an honorable mention? Girl worked for high end brands across Asia back in the day. Also, where tf is Jazlene? She had a better modeling career than Adrianne, Lisa, Keith, Whitney, and Yoanna combined.

DaCosta eventually went to star in TV series including ABC's daytime drama All My Children, Ugly Betty, and since 2015 stars in the NBC medical drama Chicago. And even played Whitney Houston in the 2015 Whitney Houston Biopic! Most on this list are doing nothing comparatively. Got this one WRONG!!

The fact that you guys keep neglecting Jaslene from cycle 8, even though she is actually one of the few winners that went on to work successfully from the go tilo this day proves that Latinos no matter how successful and hardworking they are will never be considered.
I hear you and agree they should have given Jaslene a spot; she's quite successful. At the same time, Yoanna is half Latin and won and placed on the list. A lot of people tend to ignore that, though, either because it's a little-known fact or because she's mixed and they white-washed her on the show (she mentioned her mother's Mexican heritage in passing during the go-see challenge but the panel never brought it up).

I assume because she clearly looks mixed/predominantly Asian vs. Yoanna, who had pale skin and green eyes and therefore didn't look "stereotypically" Latina (dark eyes, tan skin, etc.). Either way, they were insensitive about it. I'm mixed myself and one of my biggest pet peeves is people trying to force you to choose between your ethnicities. Being connected to both is a valid option and not enough people get that or are willing to accept it.
