i went on the ride last month at cali adventures.. he was funny and i wanted him to talk to me but he only picks lil kids.. the ride was amazing tho! very fun!
when me and my mom went on this ride at one point my mom stoob near mr. potato head and it started talking...to her! now heres what happend potato asked the lady in the blue shirt (my mom) and asked who was her favorete toy story chareter...she ansered:mr.potato head, and then potato stated to ham up i dont know if that is the best kind of interactive thing or what!
Right??? I found out about the "You sir/ma'am, in the (color)" when I went yesterday!! Tbh my hair is short, so I wasn't 100% if a person was selecting his words lol. My biggest curiosity was the mouth mechanics, I figured out the black is mesh the whole time
I'm gonna miss him too. It's very frustrating he hadn't recorded his lines for Toy Story 4, but thankfully he had a very long life, and he was available to reprise the role of Mr Potato Head for almost every Toy Story video game.
I'd seen the videos of this in action, but then when I went to that ride in February, it's...something else. You have to observe this. It's brilliant engineering and animation, and great voice work. Funny and amazing stuff.
If they remake the ear to have a larger peg hole but small peg and use magnets they could fix the ear problem, no joke
