Since every second comment seems to revolve around the fact that the monitor belongs on the RIG, here's my opinion. You could send me a Samsung G9 240Hz to try out and I'd be happy to install it on the RIG for an endurance test. Quite apart from the fact that this plays no role at all in experiencing the immersion and I have never needed it to drive fast. But as I said, the offer stands ...

@@markusosx9503 Yep. I was racing in big Triple Screen(~60 inch per screen) Rigs with XY DOF Motion. That was just no comparison at all to VR. Single Screen... people are writing shit like "Ultrawide is awesome and so immersive and the fact that a monitor plays no role at all in experiencing the immersion"... I am a scientist at heart so I got myself a single Ultrawide... This one is maybe enough for Euro Truck Simulator 2 but a modded engine and 200km/h on an overland are stretching its capabilities.
The truth is: VR is super immersive, it is 3D people. No matter what you do, there is no 3D with an Ultrawide nor with Tripples. VR is uncomfortable though. And it's demanding in terms of hardware and software quality. It's not just the headset, you need a very fast CPU and decent graphics card.
So Matthias please stop posting wrong FACTS. Put you money where your mouth is, get something like a Valve Index and make sure you can run 140hz with a clear vision in a simulator of your choice(It will have to support VR though... in decent quality... so ACC is out of the game I'm afraid), turn your fancy XY-DOF off and try it out. Then turn XY-DOF on and try again. Then switch to your Ultrawide and try again. If afterwards you are still - in all honesty towards others and yourself - of the impression, that its a "fact that visuals play no role at all in experiencing the immersion" I will apologize and have learned that immersion differs from person to person. Until then, I'll just call you a person who's posting facts about something he just doesn't understand.
I see that monster of a PC you've got there, the huge Noctua heatsink and what looks to be an absolute banger RTX card; perfect for the insane speeds with no lag! Other people be like, "But... why are we watching a guy race on a sim rig? Big deal!" I'm like, "This is a professional Rally Driver. An actual Rally Driver who's not messing about, and all I can hear is the ENGINE and all I can see is the SPEED of everything flying by." It's insane and I love it!

Nice driving man! The rig looks sick and the motion looks dialed. Although I am wondering what kind of glass cleaner you used on the tempered glass on your PC case. It almost looks like it's not even there! ;-)

For an sfx setup your cable management is good, knowing the amount of cables you need.
I have the same screen but i only enjoy VR with my motion, i do not like moving and the dashboard not moving with me it looks and feels like you are driving a car with a loose seat in it.

Świetny sprzęt, ale dziwnie to wygląda że kierownica z fotelem chodzą na boki itp a deska i kokpit na tv stoją w miejscu. To tak jak byś siedział w aucie rajdowym i byś się przemieszczał po kabinie. Zadaniem tak dobrego sprzętu jest jak najlepsze odwzorowanie warunków w realnym Świecie. A tu dziwnie to wygląda.

It looks fantastic, but agree with the comments below that the monitor should be attached to the motion platform, and if you played in a darkened room or at least put some sort of cover over the simulator to remove any non related visual ques, I believe this would be the ultimate experience.

Wow your rig has come along hasn't it. Personally I would like it to move around a bit more and be more aggressive on the jump's but I'm sure over time you will get that rig dialed in. Would love to see a foot camera added to the bottom right of your screen. Well done it's amazing

Allerdings macht dein Rig erst wirklich dann Sinn, wenn dein Monitor an deinem beweglichen Rahmen montiert ist.
Das ist kein Kritik, sondern nur der Anreiz es mal zu versuchen. Du wirst sehen, das sich dein Fahrgefühl und auch der Fahrspaß explosionsartig steigert.

I compare it with games where the people dial the graphics down because it distracts the "competitive" gameplay or you see more.
But for the car feeling and generally fun exceptional.

It's SimHub, but I too would like to know the mount. Doesn't seem like he answers any questions though.
You need to add a TrackIR 5 like Boostedmedia so that the game follows your rig movement
BM did that more for content creation than a need for it himself

I don't own a motion rig yet but probably no more than 200-300on average might even be less, can remember where but you can find several videos showing watts consumption for the sfx100 (4 actuators going up and down) and from memory it averages 100watts
