  • An up close and personal look at this ultra light motor floater, Bloop 2, a truly unique and easy to fly biplane. Having a ruggedly designed and built airframe and well thought out aerodynamics, this prototype aircraft has survived testing, high winds, and hard landings, with no injury to any pilot operating it during the last six years; and has provided recreational enjoyment to many people whom have flown it to provide data and feedback to its designer, Mike Sandlin.

I love this. I love all the general use components being used in an airplane. They seem janky but they work flawlessly.

Hi Glenn, I am not a pilot nor a diy ‘er but have always been interested in flying. You must be a certified pilot because you seem to know a lot about the characteristics and specifications of flying an aircraft. Thank you for sharing this video.

want the measurements of the wings along with the measurements of the rudder and the type of metal for the tubes to build the fuselage. Would you like to make videos of the precise stages of their work, especially the measurements? Thank you. I am from the state of Iraq and I apologize for the length of the message.

It's nice to see the close up of the motorfloater so as I am looking at the drawings from the website it makes it easier to see how it is put together. Any video of the repacking of the chute? Thanks

Thanks, I'm glad that you enjoyed it. There is more to talk about on the Bloop such as the seat, seat belt, and rescue parachute; but I thought that another video would be more interesting when it is time to repack the chute so that people could see what it looks like out of its pouch and how it is activated.
