Why do people say runner?

I had a run in with some criminal mages with a lot of attack size, I ran around a corner and jumped into the ocean, them mages were pissed and said I was a coward in dms while saying bunch of slurs and racist stuff. Safe to say I got out without getting killed and got the last laugh of reporting them. Not sure if they got banned or not tho. I'm just a little merchant sailing through the dark sea.

Man i really hate it whenever other players just do that. It's one thing to RPvP (random PvP)/ RK (Random Kill). But it's another thing to do it with someone else or an entire group, against 1 player. And especially right after that 1 person finishes spawning in.
But it's like the problem isn't easy to get rid of. With a PvP toggle, players with high renown or infamy can just have it way too easy. But at the same time without it. Lower level players and player's who've just reached max level have to deal with it.
The only solution that I can even think of is maybe to add a limit to renown and infamy. Like. After looting treasure chests and sinking ships, and gaining a certain amount of points to your reputation. It just stops. And you get to choose if you wanna compete amongst other players for more infamy. And if you don't. Then you can have a PvP toggle. Either for the rest of the time that you're playing the game, or until you choose to start doing PvP. And if you choose to keep the toggle and *not* PvP. Then you should just have it frozen at your current amount of infamy.
Idk if that would work. But this random ganging up on people is so annoying.
Yeah vetex doesn't want to add a pvp toggle lol it's a key feature tbh

In other words mainly focus one and avoid the other 3 get health repeat then attack others?

I got jumped by this guy on sandfall isle. Now I'm not bad at PvP per say but sandfall isle is small. My build has like 0 attack size lol bc I went for all our power and defense. 175 power 7 drawback and abt 650 defense. Funnily enough I won bc they couldn't not be hit by my attacks and I do 500 damage each time and more if I hit them on the 4th hit (crystal magic) but normally I can kill ppl in 3 lol
AO pvp mfers being toxic and saying you ran when you whooped em thrice and then retreated due to being low (They think they're still better than you)
Remember me one day i was just bounty-hunting peoples at Shell Island then 4 guys from a random clan attacked me for no reason , they dealed literally 0 damages and wasnt able to hit me even when i didnt move 💀💀Then when I attacked them i killed most of them but they respawned in their brig trying to run away , i tryed to chase them but i had a bad bring and they had 2 brig so they just killed my boat then they leaved

If you’re playing AO with friendu usually do dark sea expeditions or something, but not these guys. These guys look for a high renown player to jump
That build is nice, still trying to figure out mine because I’ve got no clue how to make explosion mage work good for pvp.
A friend of mine and myself got 3v2ed before, I don’t think either of us died once but they weren’t toxic and were good sports so I’m not mad about that. Got jumped once at limestone then killed someone and they complained how the game was unfair despite jumping and my build being garbage at the time (still is but slightly less)

Health is the best factor in silverhold battles. Size is the best factor in ship battles. Speed is the best factor in open environments.
Why isn't there a weapon skills menu where you create and customize attacks. I think it would improve the game by allowing players to be unique while using the same weapons. Like a katana counter strike move or a sword slash barrage like the fighting style rushdown
True that would be a nice feature
that'd take insurmountably long to make (especially knowing vetex since he fucking hates making skills) since you'd have to make even more unique moves for other weapons
just use another weapon to fit your needs
This is actually planned in the trelo, same for vitality spirit weapons, you will be able to make your own abilities like with magic and fighting styles

Focus on evading and poking. Try your best to target one person at a time and it's beneficial to take the fight to the ocean, where visibility is lower and hiding is easier.
