POKUDINDING, ETNIK DUSUN TINDAL, KOTA BELUD, SABAH.
The Pokudinding dance is an ethnic dance of the Dusun Tindal community that originates from Kampung Piasau, Kota Belud, Sabah. This dance has been observed since the 1980s and revolves around the myth of welcoming the rice harvest season. During this time, the harvested rice would be stored in large sacks called "Tangkob" and kept in a house. Due to the weight of the harvest, the house walls would lean and require support from a pole to prevent them from collapsing. Inspired by the spirit and cooperation of the villagers in preserving the rice storage house, the Pokudinding dance was born.
Over time, the structure of the Pokudinding dance has evolved. The original dance had only two movements. However, the current study focuses on the issue of the original dance structure no longer being performed. There is limited research available on the Pokudinding dance, and a qualitative method is used to gather data through interviews with respondents from Kampung Piasau. As the research is still in its early stages, it is hoped that the findings will contribute to future researchers and the preservation of the Dusun Tindal ethnic culture in Sabah.

Ya, dan kulintangan pokudinding ini sebenarnya serupa dengan kulintangan dalam tarian mongigol Dusun Tobilung kerana Dusun Tobilung bersama-sama dengan Dusun Tindal menetap di Kota Belud.
