I just think that any offside that close advantage should be given to attacking player. How can they know when the ball was kicked and when it left the boot it could be 1/4 of a second earlier or later meaning offside or not offside. It should be at least 5:widths of the lines they draw minimum to be offside. To allow for error either way !

When Coventry scored in the last seconds of extra time, I felt like I had been punched in the gut. I was thinking “we have somehow actually lost this!”. He did manage to hold on to his job then, which was the correct decision. But he was saved because of the huge rebuild and needing to clear out the deadwood. Ten Haag has not done that so far.

You are 3-0 up against a championship team thats mid table, there is 30 minute's left in the game so you take off two teenagers, who are your better players, to rest them for the must win game in the league. The players you bring on represent their countries on an international level, and the team capitulates.
Point here is,yes the manager has to shoulder some blame for arguably subbing the wrong players off,but in the context of what I just mentioned, there is no excuse for those players to bottle that game, especially to that extent.
