I’ve spent the better part of three decades deconstructing my conservative catholic upbringing (school, not my parents) and have recently started gently reconstructing my faith because as referenced in your video; I love Jesus but his fanclub..not so much. They’re literally using the Lord’s name in vain by causing harm in His name. After years of looking into other beliefs, and taking on THEIR wisdoms that resonated with my heart, I’ve joined a Methodist UK church and am being treated by them in a way Jesus would approve of. I’ve found a place I’m comfortable, peaceful, and joyful. Thanks for this video!!

I never read the Bible. I was never religious. But I always want to know more about God and who we are. Yoga found me and I practiced it (celibacy, barefoot, fasting, isolation, begging, work for free) but I never read the scriptures or anything... After 10 years of walking the path, Gnosis came to me it was like BOOM the veil was open I saw the divine sparkle 🌟 rising, merging with the moon and out of my head and then huge silence tears of joy and suddenly everything started to make sense and I was disturbed but with a lot of peace. When we are free, there is no ego, we feel no heat or cold, no hunger, no desire, no emotions of the flash, and we feel only endless bliss🙏🏾🧘🏾♀️🌟🙉🌞🕊 Thank you!

Thank you for such a thoughtful, clear explanation of this gospel. Last night during my meditation and contemplation, I was led to begin to study the Gnostic Gospels, beginning with Thomas .... and I couldn't have asked for anything more. I come from a Christian, Evangelical, Fundamentalist background and spent my first 30 years learning that - the next 30 deconstructing it - and now I'm building something new. Thank you!!!
The Gnostic gospel is the mostly unedited and unadulterated words of Jesus and the disciples.
This is a wonderful reading.
Actually the gnostic texts are written by Judaic sects from oral traditions

When I was young, I was exposed to different religions. My dad was Mormon. My ex-wife was Catholic and I had a few girlfriends that were different religions. I never really believed in any of them. I did believe in karma though.
In the new age sense or the original concept? New age -over many lifetimes. Original -what you sow you reap

Hello John 😁 I am 63 years old and when I was around 30 I felt so unloved but I heard Yeshua whisper in my ear "I love you" That changed everything for me! I felt like everything was a part of love and when I even saw a bug, I would remove it from harms way. That's when I learned about the Jainist religion lol.I had such a hunger to learn all I could about Yeshua! And just like you I read about many "religions" and spirtual teachings as well as learning about the historical Yeshua even from the time before He was born. As I learned about the Gospel of Thomas, I learned that those were the direct sayings of Jesus and so read the gospel. I understood and agree with you on the sayings from this gospel but didn't understand others. And so you sowed your seeds and your interpretations made complete sense to me 😁 You are also right about following a path but then to just find out it lead back to a very simple concept/faith/belief...JESUS HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN ME!!! For me there is no need to search anymore and actually it is now a great peace for me!!! Yeshua is probably laughing at me and saying I was here all along silly willy lol 😉 I think Yeshua has a great sense of humor 😁 I am a neuropsychology professor at a local community college and my students often will stay after class to discuss various topics, we often talk about God, so I hope that I am planting some seeds of my own. I will now impart your teachings with my students and hopefully (and I know we will) have a bumper crop harvest 😂 🍎🍓🥑🥒🥕🧄🍊. ALL LOVE TO YOU ALWAYS. ❤

This is the _third_ time Christ (Yeshua) led me to your channel. Recently I discovered the word "believe" _originally_ comes from "leubh", a 5.000 year old word, which means "be love". And so it became a _religious_ word _many_ years _after_ Christ. We're created to be loving beings, not religious spirits. That part I have understood so far.

Sometimes the loving thing to do is to not respond to the calling of others to buy into their religious, political or personal dogma. Sometimes the love is that their peace lies in their own beliefs and yours in your own. We need not convince others, therefore we are granted the free will to look past this and love them fully.

Thank you for these videos. Love your handle. Being raised in a Catholic school taught me a lot, though when asking questions that they couldn't answer, they would label me a heathen. In retrospect, their nazel gazing was the greatest gift since it started me on the path of seeking answers through other teachings, only to finaly realize, that which was doing the seeking was in the way of finding what I was looking for, which you understand - the kingdom of heaven is within you.
Anyway, your videos provoke a certain nostalgia I love listening to and knowledge I love regressing my childhood over since it has all taken on a different paradigm. Hope this all makes sense. The dualities of English make it a hard language to use somtimes. Keep doing you, brother 🙏

Thanks for this video. I’m new to spirituality and have been recently open to the existence of god. However I never really liked religion, typically Christian. I heard a podcast regaling this book which had been found in 1945 Egypt by two boys. I want to read this book and feel more confident doing so with your explanation to help me comprehend.

Thank you John for making this video. I had a moment where my lover, my brother and my mum came to me with Jesus when I was praying and show me this love you’re talking about and it is definitely truth in a practising in working on learning to love everyone, as if it was myself and being one with god. Harley was my lovers name they are out of the physical world now in my views on death have changed dramatically because I know it’s not real, so thank you for making this video and help with explanations of the gospel of Thomas helps bring the rest of the Bible together.
