    I smoked weed for 14 years straight, almost every day. I was lucky enough to have almost no side effects. The first week I was agitated and moody, could not sleep very well, but eating was never a problem. I think mostly because I was working out almost every day even though I was a stoner and when I quit I worked out even more. That helped me stay hungry and detox faster and get my daily dose of dopamine spikes to not feel like shit all day.

      First off congratulations for making a decision like this for your health, I know it’s really tough to give up. Honestly there were times I didn’t eat for like 5 days at a time, but I’d say try smoothies to get your calories in, or drinking sugary drinks to make sure your blood sugar is staying regular. Soft foods like squash and banana also help. Even if you’re just taking a few bites at a time, always keep some food by you and try to eat more frequently. I’d just keep a small meal by my side until I finished it, even if it took the whole day. It started getting easier to eat after a few weeks.. stay strong you can do this!

Just know that I believe in YOU and if you need to talk to someone, my DMs on Instagram are open 💛 I know it may not feel like it, but weed is something you can learn to live without. It’s gonna be the toughest thing you’ve ever done maybe, but it’s for your health. Your body is telling you what it needs. It’s just about accepting it now. • @MackenzieOrcutt
      @MackenzieOrcutt  Před 3 lety +1

      Yep. Same exact reason I smoked. I got prescribed a kind of emergency anxiety medication that I'd take when I'd get panic attacks, which was pretty much daily or more than that in the beginning. After about a year without smoking, my anxiety is the same as when I did smoke, I'm just not hurting my body anymore like that. Look at this as an opportunity to develop healthier coping mechanisms. Weed doesn't really help you deal with your anxiety, it just suppresses it until it bubbles out in other ways. Much love girl :)

    I'm not trying to ridicule health conditions. But I have been smoking weed/hash for 28 years.
    Up to several grams a day. Never had this. Never had any of my friends seen suffering from CHS either.
    Could be bad weed (fertilizer or insecticides used in the cultivation of it). Not sure if there are any rules in the U.S. of A. for growing weed.
    But here in the Netherlands, our F.D.A. would close shop if a seller would use these kind of things.
    Anyway. Good on you for kicking a bad habbit. Keep at it.
    FWIW I would never recommend anyone, with serious responsibilities (like still studying, a job which is mainly driving a car or operating machines etc.), to smoke weed/use drugs.
    Drugs are generally bad, m'kay.

I know a lot of ppl that are frequently using because of chronic pain or recreational use and Never had these problems? So is this something specifically happening to those that have come in contact with weed that's laced? Because until this pass couple of year's, since legalizing weed All These physical and mental health concerns have a cured? I know a lot of ppl that smoke weed, eat edibles, that have NEVER in the 85 years, of living, has never had these symptoms or problems? God Bless! Maybe they should have done a study on Bob Marley? Because this seems weird, like somebody laced your weed with something beautiful? COVID really messed things up, because doctor's and people with big money control the weed in some states more than other's?

    A lot of street pot as well as recreational pot is soaked with pesticides and fed with chemicals that Require a hazmat suit to be around. There are alot of growers that are poisoning their consumers and they are well aware but their profit comes before your Health my advice if you want to keep smoking grow your own organic pot so you know exactly what’s going in your body. I’ve been in your situation before I started smoking and I was in-N-Out of doctors offices specialist you name it I felt thought I was going to die and I never got an answer from the professionals they just wanted to give me meds without knowing if it was gonna work or not I refused and decided to do my own research on food and decided to go all organic no GMO‘s or processed foods and I bounce back in less than a month. I always grew my own pot but In between grown I went to a dispensary to pick a a zip to hold me off till mine was done and it gave me a sore throat and I felt nauseous after smoking it and loss of appetite I found that extremely odd because munchies is one of my favorite symptoms of smoking ok so maybe I got a bad batch went to a different dispensary and similar effects I never experienced this with my own crop but the experience mad me quit smoking and eating cannabis because it reminded me of my illness before I started smoking I replaced smoking with fitness and I feel like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. I loved smoking and growing but it’s not worth my health. I hope you continue to regain you strength

    I had all those similar Problems in the past. What worked for me to stop the severe allergic reactions and stomach problems was: 1) smoke concentrates instead of flower. I’m highly allergic to the flower but not the oil, wax, shatter, etc 2) Exercise - strenuous exercise like doing martial arts, yoga, and meditation will help with anxiety. I recommend Capoeira for the full mind and body experience. 3) Diet - Try things like intermittent Fasting or OMAD-One meal a day to let the body heal....this worked wonders for me but everyone is different. Good luck and thanks for sharing.

      Unfortunately, there is no fast way to speed up this recovery process that I found! I’d say to just be supportive and help him with STAYING AWAY from weed and CBD/hemp products entirely! Anytime you partake, it resets the whole recovery process (from what I found). Cold turkey is the best option. I’d also suggest to avoid foods that are hard to digest (vegetables that aren’t boiled, whole grains, etc) until his digestion is back to normal. I was on a smoothie and soup diet for several weeks :/ good luck to you both!
