Integrate Summit '24 Opening Keynote, "Sacred Secularity," Dr. Jesse Fox

The 2nd Annual Integrate Summit was held June 20, 2024. The Keynote Speaker was Dr. Jesse Fox. He shared two talks on the topic Sacred Secularity: The Value of Spirituality for Mental Wellbeing. This is his opening presentation.
The great value of spirituality for health is now a topic of discussion in places that were once taboo. The last several decades have seen a boom of scientific interest, and clinical application, of the many ways spirituality enhances human thriving. In these two talks, we will explore together some of the foundational moments that have opened opportunities to bring spirituality back into mainstream psychology care. Through them we will likely discover that rather than always being novel, the methods that have been around for generations, have strong foundations to create environments of care that truly incorporate the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
