He eliminates the risk from the game, leaving the only chance for getting the money to be split.

@Sam Lowe Him being a nice guy is overall irrelevant to the ordeal. It's like what OP said, the whole point is to force a split pick from the other person. From there you can choose your own without a problem and if you really are aiming to split the money with the other person, picking either choice as the one setting this up is the same, as with steal you can just split after the show. Him picking split on camera probably was more to show that the strategy really works.
Yeah, the whole thing of trying to convince your opponent you're going to pick split is pointless. If you manage to convince them, they could thing they could get money by stealing, and if you don't, why would they pick steal? Just to spite you? Holy shit that ending shocked me. That was actually genius
After the lady said "Go after and get a drink" at around 5:00 I knew she was gonna steal, she just sounded like such a liar.
The moment Pyro explained the concept I knew how easy it was to rig. All you have to think about is what you're options are, if they pick "steal" you're automatically get nothing no matter what choice you make, so its always better to pick "steal" or at least claim you are to force them to "split" for even a chance at money. The other person is almost guaranteed to believe you, because there is no motive to lie about picking "steal".
that last guy didn't just open his 3rd eye, he's already opening the 13th
I wish there was third "fuck you" option where when you know the other will try to steal, you screw them over and get the money, but if you're wrong they get it all
Why didn't they put that in?! That actually sounds like it would make the game more interesting. It would also be funny, and wouldn't have as obvious of a loophole as there only being two options.
But in that case, what if both choose the "Fuck You" option?
@@promethium-145 Oh then just noone gets the money because they're both douchebags that just went "Fuck you" to some random person that also just said "Fuck you"
Edit: Or you know what best would be charity
@@promethium-145 Then both have to pay 1000 pounds.
@@compszn That's pretty funny! 😂
@@promethium-145 Thank you!

5:40 lmao when she was telling this lonely older guy that they could go for a drink after they split it I knew she was lying
The fact that nobody has broken someone’s eye socket with those balls is a pure miracle
Notice how the ones that steal avert/close their eyes, while the splitters maintain eye contact.
Every. Single. Time.
i would love to see more reactions of this game show, its amazing!
Should be a third option, that means you lose everything if your opponent split.
But you get everything if they steal.
Yeah, I saw another commenter (forgot the username, sorry I'm a lazy bastard haha) who mentioned a third option. But as I asked in reply to them, what if both people choose that third option?
I mean as long as one guy splits someone get money, feel like the easiest way to work it out is figure out who needs the money more and then predetermine it
I remember being shown the last clip in class one time. What an actual power play.
Ironically, I was thinking the entire time about doing what that last guy did.
Honestly id rather go home with both having nothing then see the other guy/gal go home with everything and me nothing (Though that first one gave me a good feeling). Watching to the end though that guy is going places, that takes charisma to a whole new level
theres one guy who told the partner he was going to steal and then both of them split on the assumption the first guy would steal
Yeah, Pyro should have put that in the video...
@@Ploob96 sorry lol i commented before the video started lmao
Dang
8:09 God appears
pyro be lookin more and more like mona lisa with each upload
The guy literally stole my strategy a decade prior.
How shameless.

"We'll go for a drink after this,"
Yeah, her treat.
For some reason myself as a kid was obsessed with this show. As I've grown up I literally have no idea why this show is awful
I'm in that same boat, literally every time i was at my grandmother's house when i was young I'd be sitting on the sofa watching these from start to finish. Now I'm looking at it and its just people pointing fingers for the dumbest reasons
Still nostalgic though
My god, whilst i was watching i was thinking to myself "What if someone insisted on steal then decided to split after the show". lo and behold that was the strat that broke the show... however im disappointed that he backed down. in my opinion i would've gone through with it, done the steal, and given him the split after the show because of the precedent it sets, turning a game of deduction into a game of blind faith
he didn't 'back down' per se, his strategy was to back the other guy into a corner of 100% picking split
What the comment above said. He was using reverse psychology on the dude, essentially.
man, i was practicing portal 1 glitchless run when the glados voice donation came on and that put the fear of god inside me
first stream i was on time for
Me personally, I wouldn’t take that level of disrespect.
Saying “im going to steal” is a good strat because the other person either chooses to give you it all or both get nothing
I would pick steal in that situation out of pure spite
shoutout to the editor for cutting out the best parts, outstanding job
The last dude is both the kindest and smartest person i have ever seen
It'd be interesting to see what happened to the people who stole after the show.
Who would keep someone like that on their team or in their employee.
Once your integrity is compromised, you can't get it back and those people just sold it on national tv.
Talk about being short sighted.
the woman at 5:35 was obviously gonna steal she was so manipulative
If you ever wanted an example of chaotic good then the last fella is it. I don't think the man sat across from him could even internalise to this day how much of a puppet master he is compared to the average npc.
I love how you covered this a couple months after my freakonomics class covered it
I love how hesitantly the audience applaud the stealers xD
Forget Golden Balls that last guy had Balls of Steel! Binley Mega Chippy high IQ
the first one was honestly wholesome. its nice to see humans can trust eachother
I saw that clip years ago and I still remember it
11:56 at least the other stealers showed some shame even remorse but not her nothing but pure joy and not a single hint of shame, she's the kind of person to cheat on her husband and not feel a tiny bit bad about it.
bruh its a game
@@krlllx yea a game about trust and betrayal and a big bag of money
The show is actually fkcn entertaining, will definitely watch
I completely forgot about this show and you just unlocked a memory for me
The ending of this video put a big stupid grin on my face. What a legend. Thanks for upload funny breaking bad cutaway meme guy
The saddest gameshow is trying to bet on the what weird shit pyro does next
Pyro. I'm not happy with the recent lack of BINLEY MEGA CHIPPY content. I expect more by tomorrow thank you
13:35 when i saw the show I always wondered why no one did this
The worst part is you got the bad feeling the whole time like a fight is about break out and you're powerless to stop it.
