This is cool Nathan. Finally, we'll get to see you...kind of. In one of your videos, there was someone who I thought could have been you. The person was far from the camera shooting video, and I imagine the character in this video looked like that.
Anyway, when I was looking into explainer videos, Character Animator came up often, but it looked too intimidating. But you've made it seem reachable. I will watch to see how you use Character Animator, because your videos are great explainer videos.

Good explanation, I have a question how can you animate edit two character that talk move at once can you show that?

@@Storysium Already done with the first series of basic tutorials in the program itself. What an eye-opening experience! The learning curve doesn't seem too steep, and I can't wait to see what I can come up with. Wanted to drop animations into some video for some time now.

I guess I started too late with animations, with stuff like this an era comes to the end. Drawing for like 34 years, started at 2 and decided last year to try out animation. But with this tool... Honestly you can do stuff in some minutes who takes usually many hours of drawing and patience... Sad but i think i have to give this a try😥😏 why im sad? Because im one of those old fashioned guys who likes the good ol work😂 but why shouldnt i use a program that even a child could use to get great results😁 its like: hey, heres your futuristic easy 2 use master-car.... No thx, I'll take the donkey
I'm not an animator, but from my experience, throughout a number of other fields that got revolutionized by technology: there will still be a need and use for your skills. Especially in conjunction with the new opportunities through technology like this. This is a very specific tool and there are certainly many more things to animate and styles of animation that you could put your talent to use (and combine it with) 😉

Just Do what You Love Still....the way you want to do it. Do both , use these programs for faster workflows but use the traditional way for your own fun hobby relaxing time....best of both worlds...and even with all this new technology, don't forget a good personality and fair prices CAN beat ai technology. But ai tech stuff is good for those wanting faster cheaper alternatives to do animations....even those who are more into the idea of story taking but not necessarily wanting to be an artist.

Wondering do you need a specific type of webcam for this to work. Or is there a minimum camera spec or something..
Not sure about the requirements, I've tried it with a build in webcam on my laptop and a $80 Logitech webcam, both worked great.

Yes that's possible and what I did for the intro of this video.
So if i understood correctly, to animate character i need Adobe Character Animator. It is Ok. But there is a question can i use the result only with Adobe products or i can use for instance in Davinci Resolve? Thank you!
Good question. You can export the result as a video, a mp4 for example, and use this in any editing software. Does this answer your question?

No, I think it's not available as a stand alone product, it's part of the pack. Not sure, so maybe ask Adobe.

Sure, you just need to make this character in Photoshop or illustrator and then assign actions to the puppet in Character Animator. Check the tutorials from Dave (Okay samurai) to learn more.
