The Chanel Dad Sandals need a protective grip put on the soles. No matter how well made a pair of shoes are, if they have leather soles they always always need protection, especially if you’re walking around that much in them. That’s just a given for an leather soled shoe. I wanted the Dior’s for walking around during the summer (I have the Chanel Dad Sandals but feel those are not made for walking a lot) because of the thick rubber sole, and I’m so glad I watched this because I wondered how the lambskin would hold up.

Hi! At 3:08, calling the size 42 "Bigfoot" is pretty offensive to women who have bigger feet. I know you probably didn't intend to be rude but it is inconsiderate since there are people with feet that are size 42 and you're associating that term with that shoe size.
The Chanel dad sandals are EVERY where this spring. They look so gorgeous with a pretty pedicure… but $1500 and up? yeah when the prices are making Hermes look reasonable, I can’t get down with that. The Hermes ones look too much like actual dad slippers/sandals, though :( thank you for the comparisons, something to consider as the weather continues to warm up. 😊

Hi, thank you so much! ❤️ Black is definitely a safer choice, as the soft lambskin leather scuffs easily, so in black it would be less visible. But go with what your heart sings for, for that price you have to love them 😍

Hi! I’ve seen others take them to the cobbler to add another layer to the sole, but, personally, I didn’t because after those first marks appeared, not many appeared afterwards. I’ve been wearing mine all the time and, other than the marks, the sole is doing pretty well! Hope this helps ❤️
Normally, they don’t, but I’ve had cases when they’ve made a fart like sound 🤣 I believe one of the girls in the comments was struggling with this & she actually found a solution!

@@bby90210 Not really, because I can just tighten the velcro straps up a bit if they feel loose, but, honestly, it’s not much of a difference! I’d still recommend taking your usual size but if it’s not available and 0,5 up is, then it shouldn’t be a dealbreaker! 🙌
As long as the lambskin is not scratched - yes! But sometimes what looks like dirt is actually a scratch and, in that case, there’s nothing you can do 😩
Hi! ❤️ I love the look of them but, since they’re made of very soft lambskin, they’re not a carefree pair of sandals! Even if you’re super careful, it’s very easy to scratch them 😩 However if that doesn’t bother you, I’d recommend them 100%! 🙌

Hi Amelia! 😍 It doesn’t rain in the summers where I live, so, unfortunately, won’t be able to comment on water stains, however, I would guess that a protective water-repellent spray for leather could help avoid any water damage! Ohhh the sizing is terrible, if you can, order multiple sizes just to be sure as they sell out so quick! Hope this helps ❤️

I found Dioract sandals true to size! I’m normally a 40 and 40 is a perfect fit, 40,5 was a bit too big, I can still make it work but 40 is better! Hope this helps ❤️

Based on what my foot looks & feels like, I would say that it’s probably the same! Chanel 40,5 and Chypre 42 definitely the same! Hope this helps ❤️
