The best thing about MSM is definitely how monumental of a task it is to achieve its goal. The presentation and commentary are the icing on the cake. I would do MSM myself if I had the opportunity financially, watching Overload Gaming is the next best thing.

1,056 packs! Oh my lordy, that is a that would be a dream come true. I think the best part of all this is the desire to complete a goal (collecting all of the cards) and the enjoyment of opening packs. I'm a sucker for opening packs!! The paper packs from Belgium are my preferred option but my husband thinks the cards printed in Japan are higher quality.
The best thing about master set madness is actually listening in the backround. Sounds weird, but it's calming to me

What i love about master set madness is that it's something fun to watch in the morning, or at lunch, or whenever the video posts and there's free time to watch it. I like watching pack opening because it help scratch my itch of cracking open boxes myself. I enjoy seeing all the pulls even if some cases are a miss and just your commentary in the videos makes it enjoyable to watch.
The excitement of opening packs comes from the possibility of finding rare or valuable cards inside. There can be a sense of anticipation and excitement as each pack is opened, wondering what treasures may be hidden inside. Hitting those sweet cold foil legendary and common equipment its a nice win.
What I keep coming back to Master Set Madness is honestly your demeanor. You seem very humble, down to earth, and the way you speak about the game, LSS, and the greater community is probably the biggest selling point for me. You've got a pleasant format, the best when it comes to box openings, I've come across, and you're respectful in your banter on a wide range of meaningful topics.
My favorite part is being able to hear you be excited about what you pull and how cards look, even ones you've already gotten for the set.
I like watching master set madness and box openings in general just to see how lucky some boxes can be and it's always exciting seeing big hits being cracked

I do like seeing the cards especially since I know there are some that I might never see. I also just like seeing you aim for those last few cards on the list.

My favorite thing about Master Set Madness is knowing that I get to save money by watching you hunt for everything in the set xD But your commentary is great and while I'm not always a huge fan of box opening videos, having great commentary is much more preferred than saying every card name that you pull and never speaking about anything else.
I do work really hard not to just read the names. I'm not a fan of that either! 🙃

MSM attempts what many people wish they could do as a collector - acquire a card without having to "pay" for it directly. It is the hunt for treasure that makes the treasure exciting - possessing the treasure is anti-climactic (luckily we can actually do something with the treasures in CCGs) especially if you just pay for it to arrive 3 days later in bubble wrap.
Overall I find your master set madness videos very eye opening on how the drop rates advertised compare to what we are seeing in the wild. I don’t feel so bad when I can’t crack a marvel and seeing you still struggle to find them as well. Great work, keep it up!

Yeah I think the best thing about it is that you're actually not a douche from what we can tell. It's a humongous project few people could probably even think about doing but still this is not a finance channel. Box breaks are garbage tier content but this is kind of an experience and the chatter is what makes it worth it tbh, at least in the videos you're just a FAB fan/player as we are and not in it for good buys, strong investments and smooth brain speculation for the sake of it. Sure you can assess value and have a clue or opinions about good cards, cards that are fun to you, but you don't stress it and become unreasonable and that's actually what most TCG content is about and why it's so tedious. Still fun to hear your thoughts on it in these videos, it's more levelheaded than we've come to know from TCG content.

What I like in Master Set Madness is to see what I could have had in the opening my own cases but still got nothing :')

@@mastersetmadness bought 3 cases of Outsiders and only got one CF quiver, 2 rf trench and 1 rf fable… decided to go single afterwards ahah hope the next set will be more generous because I can t make money grow on tree 😂
What matters to me with master set madness is showing how important it is to buy the cards you want.
