The sex infraction was super annoying to me. Like it just seemed like they did the do because Kayla was insecure with Flavia coming in. And you could argue that insecurity is a big reason why a lot of these people prefer casual sex to relationships anyways. I thought the deduction should’ve been more money 🤷♀️

@@KINGDXVID_not really, the show is filmed in 8 weeks so it’s not like they were on the road to marriage or something. And People don’t change overnight. She had the opportunity to go back to her old ways of jumping ship because things were getting serious with Nick but ended up reflecting and choosing Nick. It showed great growth for her.

I used to be really good friends with Brittan when I lived in Hawaii. Kayla was overrated, James ruined his chances with any girl and at that point was just there to be there, Nigel didn't deserve Brittain, sophie didnt deserve to go home, she JUST got her heart broken a few days ago, that litterally takes time to heal, despite the fact that they all knew each other for a few weeks, she was actually going to be loyal with creed and do better, but that changed when he left her for someone else, lana expecting her to just move on and let people in when she has made it known that the reason she doesnt let people in is because of guys like creed, plus she didnt have any guys to choose from. That new guy was a sleaze, (forgot his name) shawn was dead set on kayla and jaw, nigel was focused on money, and seb was head over heels for kayla. This was a fail on lanas part not sophie, not to mention creed should have been given more time to fail his test. He was obviously planning on cheating on Flavia, but people being sent home scared him, and kayla only had sex with seb just to keep him interested in her. That was all and it. It was for manipulation purposes only. Last but not least, I had a complete crush on nick, call me biased, but I can't understand why jaw was tempted even for a second when they showed to have the best connection in the beginning

1: only 1 couple gets the cash as such out the gate the money is made as a selfish incentive to think about
2: the only way to get the money is to form a genuine connection and actually grow which requires a lack of care for the rules.
3: the true purpose of the money is to add stakes to every intimate interaction. When a kiss costs the group money and effects your other relationships and friendships the value of what a kiss means is more significant. This obviously adds drama

Because the show is inherently flawed in its very core. There's no way you can take a relationship to the next level without getting physical, so the ones who did were the ones with the strongest "connection"...even though I think it's mostly all BS and would be surprised if any of them lasted in the real world.
I never felt like I saw any real development in towards a relationship with nick and jawa. it kinda just happened 😭. maybe I wasn’t watching well enough . also I find nick rly cringe , the singing , the constant meditation and breathing stuff which I was trying so hard not to laugh at lmao
They never show ANY real development on the show (mostly because imo they're not actually developing real connections, they're still just a bunch of hot people on an all expenses paid vacation) but any conversations they do show is mostly like "You're so hot" "I know right? You're hot too" "Yeah but you're super hot.." That's pretty much it.
