March 19th, 2021 Stage IIIA Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (Non-Smoking)
February 2022 Stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (spreading to Brain, and other parts of lung)
Gene Mutation EGFR with Exon 20 Insertion
TREATMENTS (Received or currently Receiving
2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Current Chemo Plan; ongoing
6 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
Targeted Brain Radiation

The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my family.

You got it! My dad had stage 4 lung cancer and he beat it. This was 10 years ago too when medicine for cancer wasn’t as advanced and he wasn’t as young as you. Be positive and keep living your life is honestly the best advice our doctors gave us.

I Had stage 4 cancer - it’s tough but going into year 5 post chemo - “clear thus far of cancer- “….But those 6 month scans do cause crazy rushes of “yikes!!! Hope cancer is not back!” Even after this long! So I understand your anxiety!

Hi guys, sending you love and prayers. Remember, everyoneś situatioj is different and unique. Because some people pass on does not mean that you will. this is not cookie cutter situation. I know two people in my vicinity that were given up for death at least 9 years ago, one with lung cancer and the other with an aggresive bladder cancer. The suffering was enormous for both of them and one of them did not want to continue living. No one dies before their time. They both are alive and doing very well. They go in and do their check ups. sometimes cancer is no where to be found and then it shows up again. No matter what, hang in there, pray, eat well (no sugar) and allow god to do the rest. Hugs to you both. keeping ypu in my prayers.

I forgot to say ,4th stage lung cancer. She did use cbd oil,small amount at night and believes it truly helped her ,,as well as her chemo and radiation. 🙏

I have two man bag 'purses'... a grey cloth Samsonite and leather one, but I always feel very self conscious about it because wearing them is uncommon. No more pockets jammed with things and nowhere comfortable to put the phone. I am a kidney cancer survivor and noticed that the CT scan contrast burns when it goes in through my hand. Best of luck and I hope you can be in remission and cured for a lifetime! One day at a time. Sorry about the anxiety, meditation is great.

One thing I learned through my cancer journey is that the doctor is almost always right. If they are not overly concerned they usually they are correct! Plus, like you said no news is good news!

I’ve heard that if you use a straw you can drink more of the liquid at a time, so hopefully you can drink it quicker. 💜
Also if you use a straw with a sugary drink it bypasses more of your teeth.

I don’t know what it is about this video but I just really loved it. The part of you and the kids and Kyle singing was so sweet and you are creating such beautiful memories that you will get to continue to look back on as you fight this battle and after you beat cancer! I believe in you! I’m proud of how strong you are and for making it without an anxiety attack! I wouldn’t blame you for having one but the Lord said “not today satan, no anxiety attacks”. I love you so much and have my bracelet on! Thank you for making my day brighter yesterday even while you are going through so much! You really are an angel!
The tests are no fun whatever, you have the best attitude and your spouse is just wonderful. I’m blessed with a great spouse, too. It’s normal to feel whatever you’re feeling. Thinking of others…that’s the way. Prayers up. 🙏🏻💜🌵

Jen you can conquer this. I can't stand the contrast either and they require a timeline to chug it down. A straw helps and if cold.
Having two bottles instead of a massive 7 11 cup size helped me.
Just remember that stuff can turn to concrete. Hydrate and move yourself along. Helps temper headache. Hugs!
Loved watching you and your family. Not sure if your aware but the rebellious hope T-shirt was designed by Dame Deborah James who sadly died recently of bowel cancer. Deborah was an inspiration and worked tirelessly to make people aware of bowel cancer and it’s symptoms , she also raised millions of pounds for cancer research. Good luck on your journey ❤️
I am aware of Deborah, I followed her story and she continuous to be a role model for me of how to navigate this battle, she was an amazing woman, and I wear this shirt in her honor.

Hey Jen! Waiting for scan results is the most awful part of treatment. What helped me deal with that wait was friends who knew I was in wait mode. They set up a zoom meeting and we just did girl chat. Really did distract me and I will be forever grateful to them for doing that for me. I tried to meditate but my mind kept seeing the shiny in the room. No focus at all for me. Hope you are better and your results are positive! Much love and hugs coming your way pretty lady!

I follow another young woman on here who has adenocarcinoma in her bowel and pelvic area. Her channel is called Tiffanythinks. She recommends drinking nasty liquids through a straw as you get more in that way in one go! Tiffany is 29 years old and is very positive, just like you. xx

Good for you, Jenny! You continue to amaze me with your strength! A coping skill I use for my anxiety is journaling. You can keep a notebook in your purse when you’re on the go, in a waiting room, etc. and jot down thoughts, fears, prayers and such. I love that you sing with your kids! 🥰
