As a Jets fan, I agree that this is totally interference. The reason myself, and PoMo, and so many others are upset is because there seems to be absolutely zero consistency for these calls. In our game against Carolina earlier this week, Hellebuyck got spun around fully 180 degrees in his crease and it was called a good goal. The league desperately needs to figure this shit out. These calls can't be subjective upon the officials idea of what GI is. There's no room for gray area, it has to be black and white.
If you are talking about the Aho goal that was a good goal. Puck was in the crease and not covered. So its anyone game at that point. If the goalie had glove on it or under his pad in his possession it would have been interference.
@@algrundau9441 Yeah I remember that. One great one was when Jets played Vegas in the playoffs and James Neal cross checked Hellebuyck to the mask, good goal because they can't give Neal a penalty on a gi review.

Because the refs are taught to call it a good goal on the ice if it's close then rely on video review to overturn rather than the other way around. Notice it wasn't an emphatic "good goal" signal from the referee. He knew it was close, signaled goal, then let replay run its course.

Goaltender interference, no question.
How is that goalie interference if you're not in the crease?
The goalie had no chance even if he didn’t get interfered with a little bit
Maurice is probably my favourite coach because of he's a hot head but that was clearly interference.
And he's lost more games than any other coach.
He ran the goalie Maurice. PLD is such a dirty player.
imagine that a jet running a goalie, big surprise.
Why does he ALWAYS chew gum during the game?? Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe he's the only coach in the NHL that does that lol
Aggression management.. try chewing gum when you are really angry..
Its cut and dry.. he skates through the blue paint and hits the goaltender.. then the puck is shot in
Obvious goalie interference
I think he is just mad because the officiating isn't going his way
Jets never winning a cup
Not as long as Paul is coaching.
Wow the jets are always whining to the refs. I've never seen a team whine this much.
Yet no whinning against the Leafs. Oh that's right, cause everything was in their favor. Jets are getting really bad this year with this crap. The only time they're not complaining to the ref is when everything goes their way.
I can see why Maurice is upset. Demko clearly initiated contact but he was trying to make a save so I think it's the right call
Maurice is such a child.
Good goal- Dubois made sure he moved his leg out of Demko's way so that it wouldn't be goaltender interference- with is why this was a 100% biased, bullshit anti-Winnipeg call! He was allowed to be in the crease when the puck is in there, and it was- that's how Copp got to the puck! The refs screwed over the Jets on this play for sure, and it cost them the game as a result. Shame on the damn refs.
idk what you're looking at but dubois definitely did not try to move his leg out of the way. Easily goaltender interference
@@TheFrodoBaggins33 I don't know how YOU'RE blind enough to have missed it, as I saw it on every single replay, as well as on the original play when it happened! Dubois purposely moved his leg around Demko so that it wouldn't be goaltender interference, and even if he wouldn't have done that- there was NO WAY Demko would've been able to make the save on that play anyway! That means only one thing- it's a good goal- no ifs, ands, or buts! It's not MY fault you're blind and can't see it!
@@BigAlvideos101 his leg clearly makes contact with demko's and causes it to move, obstructing demko's ability to make the save, THEN he tries to move his leg around Demko. It's clear as day, perception bias be strong though
you could not be more blinded by your own bias. Just take a look at the other comments from rational Jets fans on this video. Laughable.
@@TheFrodoBaggins33 No, Dubois never did anything until then, and even if he did- like I said- the puck was in motion, and the NHL rules CLEARLY state that if the puck is in motion, you're allowed to be in the crease! There's also the fact that Demko would NOT have made the save regardless of whether Dubois was there or not! So, none of that even remotely matters! The Jets got screwed on this one! It's not even a debate anymore!
Idk wtf hes mad about, learn hockey buddy, tf are you doing behind the bench, that was clearly goalie interference all fucking day, ref shoulda waved the goal off as soon as it went in
what is he on? literally blatant interference whether he meant to or not
If Maurice is not fined than this league is fucked. Same as RDA for the Canes.
fined for what
@@immaleaf4964 Google ffs n come to your own conclusion.
@@deliman9710 Hmmmm. Google says you're an idiot because it's not the same thing. My conclusion is google is right
@@immaleaf4964 damn - did you have to murder him like that hahaha
Paul Maurice should be suspended for 5 games for use of unnecessary language. Does he not understand he's on TV and there are young kids watching.
Dubois is a very lazy player.
Paul Maurice is the worst coach in NHL history.
Loserpeg
I will never forget the guy that calls winnipeg loserpeg. Man, it hurts so much even to think about it! I won't be able to sleep tonight
Jets fans are awful
