What's up, today we will be installing long tube headers and in this video we will be showing you the difference between it being stock and this new mod. Thats good to see you got them headers put on it sounds like a beast! I have a Borla Atak exhaust & Kooks long tube headers on my Challenger Scat Pack too & them cold starts scare the shit out unsuspecting people!!!😅🤣
Thank you! It really gave it a lot deeper tone and the Borla ATAK is the one wete wanting! 🤣🤣 she scared me one so I can't imagine with that system 🙉😅
Did you do a PCM tune?

We got the PCM unlocked and got an HP tune. We had a Diablo but switch bc the place that did the headers only does HP
@@hisherhemi OK then go to another place that's gonna take care of it all, I also did a Diablo tuned & it worked out well! Good luck on that!

What mid pipe did u use? and do I need more than 2 o2 sensors?
We did the Stainless Works HI flow cats and it stinks alot. I couldn't imagine with no cats 🫢 and o2 sensors came with the LTH kit

Thank you! We never tuned it because our gains would be minimal since we didn't do an aggressive tune

Yessir just headers for now, we're looking into upgrading that as well soon🔥
Did the check engine light came on and if it did how you got to turn it back off ?
It would have but the shop we took it to also did tuning through HP Tuners so we got it back with no lights.
Exhaust tips are sticking out to far.
I'm adding the same LT headers this week. Has it been dyno'd?
You're not gonna regret it! And no, we didn't tune it out aggressive so it'll be a slight gain for us
no one is talking about that bad rattling sound did you get that fixed?
It's the active exhaust valves being left open but nah. It's hard to hear once you go more than 5mph

DEFINITELY not classic. Take it back and have them cut 2” off of them.
@@michaelwilcox6669 The installation of those tips just makes me think what else did they hack while installing the exhaust…The service didn’t even bother to flash tune the EFI system, that’s crazy and he goes and picks it up and takes it home?
There are tuners made for these cars just depends on how much money you need to spend because changing the exhaust and removing parts from it requires a flash or else your going to harm the motor…I bet he lost all the low end torque and was flooding out those 16 spark plugs from a massive amount of fuel dumping into the cylinder and not being burned off because of the exhaust system being used now.
As for using aftermarket headers this was a waste of money (my opinion) because this car came stock with original headers for this car…(I own 2021 SP 1320).
I think he said the installer removed parts from the exhaust and replaced the stock headers with aftermarket headers…
Now he has a slower vehicle with more exhaust drone sound…If anyone knows anything about how engines work this effects reversion and without correction of the electronic fuel management system through flashing the engine’s EFI the engine will run poorly and actually harm it more than making it run faster…
All this for nothing but a louder slower car, Nope, not me lol 😂

Yes originally we had a diablo tune then we did HPtune after the headers. Not a big difference tuning wise but the headers opened her up
You should give Tapped Performance out in McKinney a call. Mopar is all they do

Did you have to tune your car right away ? I want to get headers for my car but I’m lost
I'd just suggest getting them done as soon as possible. It might be okay for a few hundred miles but fr do it asap tbh

@joelespinoza5220 yes glad to help. Also check your local area for tuners who can unlock yours. Makes it easier instead of buying, shipping and replacing your current PCM. Plus my local tuners mostly use HP tune so I'm having a harder time finding someone who can Diablo tune, might just have to go to the email tune.

What kind of HP gains did you get from it?
We haven't found a place to dyno because everyone is crying about liability, but it's easily over 500HP to the crank and the Torque/HP curve is a alot smoother. I believe they add around 15+ HP

throw some mudflaps on the rear. already saving tons of time not having to get rubber off the bumper.
True weve thought about it but also it increases drag too so idkkk. We do need to put some tape on it next time though!
