I have a VP Prism Flash and it is a great paddle! However, the J2K is my go to. I go back and forth between the VP and Neonic Flow as a back up and either one is fine. I just feel the Flow has a little more power and pop. With that said, the VP is a great paddle and if you don’t want to spend the money then stick with it.

  • @waynekurtz660

Price is very important. Not because im cheap but because the spin wears out and so does the paddle its not like tennis where you can re-string it. We are going to buy a lot and maybe even try a few to find what we like. The top brands make good paddles but they charge a lot and part of that is covering cost for sponsorship, advertising and larger staff. If a smaller company can produce a paddle as good or better for less then support them!

Out of all the paddle videos, I choose “Best Paddles Under $150” as my current favorite.
Everyone is showing outrage over Gen3 core failures, but not enough people are voicing anger over the fact that spin decreases noticeably on paddles after few months. Trying to explain to my wife that I “already” want to replace a 3 month old, $250 paddle is going to go over like a pregnant pole vaulter. Until manufacturers can find a way to make lasting spin, budget is the way to go. Especially when they are good as this current batch!
I haven’t played with any of these, but I did get on the Apollo preorder. The Flow would be my pick to round out the collection.
