Thank you so much for the video. The trick worked for my Bosch gas cooktop which has bothered me for weeks. I used a safety pin and a hammer to hit the pin in. When the fire came back, I dragged my husband from bed to the kitchen to see the magic! Woohoo~ Thanks again!

Thanks for the great video but the hole in my jets looks open (2 of my burners are getting spark but can't hear/smell gas when on). Burner valve? Thanks!
The 2 on the left are the simmer burners and that’s a common symptom when the simmer control stops working.
@@QuickAndEasy5MinuteAppliance Bosch shows the Cooktop Burner Valve Seal (Bosch 00188962 Cooktop Washer) as being discontinued. Can a burner valve normally be replaced without replacing the cooktop burner valve seal? Thanks!

Hi there.. I have that same bosh model oven . The issue I have is the oven takes really long to preheat . Do you have any idea why ?

OMG! This is a fraction of what I would have paid a service technician. (I was also looking at another video that would have had me replacing the ignition - it should have mentioned this fix this first!) Thank you for starting with the easiest fix (which I should have thought of, because if I lit the burner with a match, I couldn't get a large flame.) FIXED!

I need to know how to raise the stove-top in order to repair a Bosch range . One burner orafice has dropped down.

Here is a photo. The right rear orifice dropped down into the stove top. It appears that I will need to remove all four burners in order to re-install or tighten it. I had a bear of a time removing the screws on the first burner, needed a screw extractor and in the end only the screw heads came out.
How do I lift the cook-top?
Your right, all the burners need to come off first. Are you sure that orifice dropped lower?
I think one comes from the factory lower than the others
On my Bosch range two of the burners don’t stop clicking despite being lit. I’ve cleaned the igniter and I’ve done something similar to what you do here and using a wire to clean the gas jets and it seems to work temporary early but quickly goes back to just clicking repeatedly. Any suggestions?

I am in the same situation. After following your suggestion, i turned the igniter on. The flame came on too but it took maybe 20 secs before it came on. I do not want to ream that orifice hole and enlarge it. Btw, you keep your stove top squeaky clean.
@@dalawa2557 after a lot of back and forth with Bosch I bought two new igniters and the front right igniter is different than the rest BUT before you do that, if you really clean the igniter and the gas jet and then make sure they are dry, mine started working. I still have the replacement parts and thank god for the CZcams video that explained why the two igniters are different. The diagram on Bosch showed two part numbers but several of the replacement web sites show all the burners using the same igniter.

I think you need a new spark module
I had a fry oil boil over and now mine wont stop clicking, help !
The oil is causing a short circuit like water does.
I would aim a blow dryer at that burner for 15 minutes until all moisture is gone👍
