what if the over flow tabs keep feeding water into the pan till error code? it would seem that too much water is getting into the tub or the seals are bad? thoughts?

but these GE POS there's a warmer in there that keeps that area warm so it doesn't freeze but it goes bad and they want $800 for a new door you can't take the box out because it's put in from the back before they put the foam on... so I cut a small door dug out all the foam drilled holes through the outside tiny about 30 little holes up against that where the line runs for the water.. I put a piece of duct tape against it then sprayed expando foam and put the plastic back the part that I cut out for the door works fine it'll last a long time

I have the f11 error code but my igniter works and so do all burners… the temp will not go above 380F and it takes a long time to get there

This video worked for me as it is the exact same fridge as mine, and it's far from obvious how to take it apart. I ran into a few tiny issues. The little white tabs you press to remove the door hinges were not so obvious to me. Spent a half hour working that out. Once you find them, they are obvious, but its surprising how tiny and inconspicuous they are. Once I removed the back panel, there was some foil covering the insulation, which got stuck in the ice and tore off. Had to run to the store to buy new foil tape for that. That panel takes a long time to dry out and It's not obvious exactly how it goes on. Lastly, the plastic tube in the back of the fridge that connects the drain hole to the condensate pan was clogged up with hair on mine, so it's a good idea to clean that.

My old Whirlpool (25 years old) has a separate piece below the large front piece above it. I can't get the large panel off so that I can get to the belt, the pulley and the motor. Is there a secret to getting my front panel off?

good job. i do this for a living and take off the cement counter weights myself. i dont use soap or oil on that inside circle, wire clamp is sometimes a spring and two people help alot with that spring. there is a way to clean that, google bens appliance and junk under mold gasket

You need the tool! I had to take the top panel and top drum weight off to get the spring back in. It was very very difficult. A mini needle nose plier and a trampoline spring puller eventually got it for me

Just finished the repair. Found about 20 dollars in change in there so I came out ahead!

Hiw long did it last becuse from what im seeing the top two need to be made from a ceramic/kevlar type plastic. The onse sold in amazone all have complaints about them failing after a month or 2

All you need is too remove the dw and give a little hit at the drain pump lol that was my case and it fixed it if it doesn't do it then you need to replace it

Any idea why the Speed 60 setting on my Bosch dishwasher runs for 124 minutes? I called their helpline but the lady was inexperienced and offered no help. Also one of the other buttons is depressed (stuck) and I can’t get it to move back up. (So disappointed in this expensive purchase.)

If your latch is not locking when going to a rinse or spin cycle the lid lock may not be your issue. The plastic latch that is on the door just need to be pushed down a little more so the lid lock can lock it. My solution to this was to just use some electrical tape and add some length to that plastic lid latch. I took the plastic lid latch off (two screws) and added electrical tape to the end of that piece that does not latch into the lid lock. So added little by little and then screwed it back in. You need to make sure that the plastic lid latch is lining up properly but this solution seems to be working for me. And I did replace the lid lock and the issue was still there. Wish I could add a picture to really show you but hopefully that helps someone.
