One way the yubel could had won was leaving samsara d lotus on the field during end phase to change your first monster effect to destroy one yubel

Samsara D Lotus does have a great effect, but I could have chain blocked it throughout my turn and extended with toccan after. Not to mention bait it out with shifter at the beginning.
