We were in London at the same time, I remember seeing your bitmoji on the snapchat map when I was in London during the summer for my high school graduation trip
I have flown 9.5 hours on a A330-300 to Honolulu in the main cabin and it wasn't to bad. A LOT better than that cattle car experience on United's 777.
I felt your pain with that delay. The first time I flew was when I was 8 years old. I was going from London Gatwick to Fuerteventura (an island in the Canary Islands close to Africa), the flight was delayed for 8 hours because of a fuel leak and they needed to switch the passengers to a different aircraft. It was a small airline I was flying with too, which was probably why it took so long for them to find us a new aircraft. Thankfully, every single flight I've taken after that hasn't been delayed.
That's ghastly for your first trip on a plane.
I just noticed that A330 used to fly for Northwest.
All of Delta’s A330’s did, with the exception of the newer 242-tonne variant, those have been with Delta since first deilvery.
One with a NW as the last part of the registration are old north west ones
@@JJ_Skippy all but 10 of the newest Delta a330-300s, Delta just kept the same reg nw to keep continuity throughout the 330 fleet

I flew on a Delta A330-300 from LHR to JFK. Awesome in flight experience in economy, not to mention that the great food and beverage selection was quite good, and also great crew! Watched a few movies as well!
Wow! Lost luggage, cargo issues, sick kid, and refueling!!! I hope your stay in London was more peaceful than your trip over. Do love the A330!!! Had an opportunity to ride it cross-country from Charlotte to Los Angeles (U.S. Airways was repositioning the plane for service over the pacific - no clue where it went after). Thanks so much for sharing...
Wonderful vid quintin! Loving the new intro! As always, looked like luxury in Business and I hope to have a route were I can fly international in business. And you got some very nice catches at JFK! Also that 737 committed a mortal aviation sin. Having the strobe light on at the gate lol.

At least it wasn’t entirely Delta’s fault for the delay...It was the ill passenger and the baggage loaders. Good trip report. 😀 (You had a good attitude about the delay. To be honest, I would have totally lost it on this delay, lol)

It was my trip home from London last month that DL lost my luggage! Sucks you started your trip without your bag. I’m flying DL again on a mileage run to Hong Kong in October- not sure I trust them with luggage anymore.

I one time had a 3 hour delay from sfo to den (San Francisco to Denver) for no reason I was disappointed I was flying delta
If they didn't have to move around containers in the cargo hold, your flight would have to divert to Halifax for a sick passenger.

What time were you supposed to arrive at LHR? With that 4+hrs delay at JFK,wonder how your late arrival affected the next flight out? Noticed your aircraft bouncing once on landing--were you and Clayton on vacation in London? I look at the airlines at LHR by alliance--upon gate arrival,you taxied behind Finnair(oneworld),parking next to Virgin Atlantic(Skyteam),you''re on Delta(Skyteam)--to the left of the VA aircraft was American(oneworld)--wish BA could restore that Concorde to service!

"Child had 103 degs" (23:37). 103 in F? Ok, in C it could be 39 (sorry, I'm from Europe). I'm not a child yet and this is so hard to be on my own foot at 39 deg C fever =) So, I wanna tell, this is an absolutely disaster parents' behavior to travel with the child w/o painkillers.
The only thing I don't like about that cabin layout is the large gap between the seat and window. I like my face to be much closer to the window.
Yeah, that's why the 767 has a better Delta One seat than the A330.
I think Airbus generally has more space than Boeing on similar models
But the airline has the ultimate say in layout, spacing, ect

Your comment sounded like Delta was the only airline that loses your bags the most, but if you mentioned that you're sure Southwest loses more, then maybe in the future change your comment up a bit to avoid confusion

They didn’t do anything, but they did give my friend (different reservation) a $200 coupon. I didn’t receive anything. The breakfast was okay, but I forgot to put it in the video 😂

3:41 is it just me or does Delta always seem to lose your luggage?
Trust me, Delta is not nearly as bad when compared to Southwest when it comes to handling your luggage. Also the Delta CEO states quote: "We don't lose luggage, they're mishandled."

Delta Air Lines need to change everything including ordering a PILOTLESS PLANES like Boeing 797s or A340neo planes, so it will be NO MORE GROUND DELAYED ANYMORE, so all futures planes can fly by itself by year 2025 thru year 2050.
