You can add new contacts or they can add you if they have your number.
Yes, however, you will need seperate numbers. For example we have two sims on our phone, business and personal.

Thanks for your feedback, It's just a way to simple communicate aspects of your business on WhatsApp, meaning you do not need to leave whatsApp. Also, this is a great option for small and local business that dont have the time or budget to create specific landing pages. Depending on the country this feature is really powerful. In New Zealand, business and consumers are starting to use WhatsApp more to manage and interact with customers/prospects. I will have to look into this. I think what you are meaning is automatic. When a customer gets the message they can simply reply to the catalogue sent.

Hey Stewart Gauld great Video, my next question has nothing to do with WhatsApp Business exactly but rather if is there a way to organized contacts list in a way to separate personal contacts and business contacts? since when Whatsapp Business synchronized it does so for the entire contact list.

I'm not too sure, that is an issue however, what we do is have seperate numbers (business and personal) to keep contacts seperate between WhatsApp Business and personal.

Great overview thank you. I had NO clue WhatsApp had a business feature. Instead of sending out blanket messages to everyone, can you put certain people into groups for example their location as I may be working in that area of a certain day of the week??? Also if all your contacts go over to the Business WhatsApp, can you delete personal contacts without effecting your everyday WhatsApp?

You can have up to three people managing your WhatsApp business. If you require more users, you will need to use the API.

You should use the either your Whatsapp business or Whatsapp. You cannot use both on one number.

In all honesty I don't understand why WA isn't adding those features into the main app, most of them excluding the catalogue maybe would be quite useful for anyone else.

Yes you could however, depending on the other tools you use like CRM, it may not integrate smoothly and end up require a bit your manual data entry etc.

You cannot send out broadcasts with WhatsApp unfortunately.

Basically, you can have only one number for personal or business. Basically, if you decide to shift to business. You will then be using WhatsApp for business for both personal and business.

Hi mate, yes you cannot integrate payment with WhatsApp, you can direct people to payment gateways like PayPal or your website.
Last I checked, this feature is only available in India. It's called WhatsApp Pay. I'm guessing they're testing it and it should, at some point, be available in other markets.

They do not offer a feature like that just yet. However, there are tools that you can integrate that allow you to do this.
