    In Europe, we call the ground floor just that, and the second layer would be the 1st floor. It helps with the points: 1st floor x1. 2nd floor x 2. Etc.

    A great game that is so easy to learn and play! We did different variants of the base game and preferred a version where you build the stack together but in competition with each other. When we had gone through one deck of cards we shuffled them and continued on the stack. It was great, tactical fun! 🥰

    Played this with a few non players last night. It was super-easy to teach and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks for the run-through. It made teaching easy. Cheers.

    It seems interesting, the comments are 50/50 about this game. I personally liked it, I suppose it's more of a taste kind of thing. As always though, kudos on the nice episode guys!

    22:48 ... There's the Dave heel turn!!! Well... He is Benjamin Cooke, the heel manager of Lucha Underground Champion Johnny Mundo (a.k.a Johnny Impact)

    would it be easier if there's a score board to score the numbers once u place them?

    I think my family would like this game. I wonder if screens in front of each player would make it more mysterious and the endgame reveal more exciting?

    I just started watching so I don't know if it gets mentioned yet but this would be quite a bit better if everyone had a player shield to hide their progress and to prevent people just copying others...because even if someone doesn't copy anyone exactly, if they get a tricky combo of numbers but someone else doesn't find it tricky, that person can just look over and be like "oh, that's a good idea", etc

    what is the highest stack possible?
    And what would be the highest score possible?
    Both within the rules, so each number used only 2 times, with correct placement rules, without expansions or house rules

  • @AhJong0
    @AhJong0 Před 7 lety

    Awkward that the birds eye camera actually makes it a little hard to tell what's going on with the stacks at times. Still, looks like a lovely game to try at a board game cafe some time.
    I'm surprised with the scoring though. I'd call the "first level" the 'ground floor' and that way you know to multiply each floor by its number for scoring 🤓

    I don't know what to think of this game. The idea is good, but when I'm watching this video, I'd think: "Why wouldn't I just peak at an opponent's play area when I don't know what to do next myself, especially early in the game?". My thoughts would be that this could work in a cooperative way, trying to get the highest possible score together. As a competitive game, I feel you need little screens, so the other players don't know what you're doing and can't copy your actions.

    anybody know the length and width of the cards for sleeving?

    • @dutch_blades
      @dutch_blades Před 5 lety

      I got my copy in yesterday and used Ultra Pro 44mm*68mm Mini European sleeves (which I had lying from sleeving Robinson Crusoe).
      They fit perfectly, but might be like 1mm too long if you're nitpicky; but you could always trim them down a tiny bit.
      And when sleeved they fit perfectly snug in the insert ;)
      Hope this helps!

    Does this game work well with two players?

    • @SyKot
      @SyKot Před 7 lety +1

      You can't influence other players at all and it takes roughly the same time no matter how many players so I think it works well with any player count: 1 -99 (as long you have extra copies)

    • @BrandonSugiura

    house rule, if you flip a tile it's worth 0

  • @velorian85
    @velorian85 Před 7 lety +3

    This is the most dull game I have seen on gamenight, counting of the endgame also is boring and to complex if you ask me. it's almost more work then the game itself.
