Ed first got his break with SBTV so he's always been respected in the Grime scene/rap scene. He even said himself he gets more respect from that scene than from his own peers in the pop scene

BUT THEN THE ACTUAL INTERVIEW starts half way and I actually got noticeably happier when your intro jingle happened halfway through lol. Great job Nardwuar, Avi and of course Ed! Always asking questions to people. Great to see. Gonna get his first self-labelled album for sure on vinyl after this. Also LOL when he super judged what Nardwuar called "LEGO" hahaha.
its pretty crazy how big Ed has become since his last interview with nardwuar. He already was pretty popular back then, but things really blew up after that.

That was excellent. Ed must really be intentional about being himself and being genuine with people, it is impressive to see that in non-celebs, and even more so in people who sell out stadiums. I love it when musicians appreciate Nardwuar. It's another thing to share with them as an audience member.

What an awesome record shop. Nearly all the cool indie shops in Toronto disappeared years ago.
Beat street is the shit! They really embrace all aspects of hip-hop (mc , Dj, breaking, graffiti) as well as pretty much any genre of music.
Toronto is a ghosttown for good stores nowadays. High Notes was a godsend when it opened tho
