Farm still works perfectly me and my mates just did it on Xbox and you can build it next to a village but it creates more hassle giving the villagers the correct roles.

Will this work with any crop, and does the crop have to be all the same? If both villagers are farmers will that still work? I can’t seem to get mine to work, but then again I didn’t give them 30 or more of any crop so that might be the issue
This will work great, but you may want to build the walls one higher to prevent skeleton sniping and a roof to prevent lightning strikes turning any of your poor villagers into witches....also, Bedrock players might consider skipping the second cartography table if you only have two villagers in this farm.
How likely is lightning to hit a villager?... In real life that villager ends up in roast beef
@@dragobatmanfgt2560 kinda depends on your biome. I'm currently in an extreme or amplified savannah (one of those) and it literally rains and storms all the time. I've had lightning utterly ruin my iron farm more than once just because the roof I did have on wasn't sufficient.....so.....it definitely does happen..... particularly when you invoke the hex of the 'it'll never happen to me' gods.... But like....if YOU wanna wrangle them into the farm more tham once, be my guest~
@@dragobatmanfgt2560 it's not SUPER likely... but it has happened to me before to some very important villagers I had.. but now I just use lightning rods to make sure nothing strikes near them anymore
@@dragobatmanfgt2560 yesterday i had 3 villagers turn into witches... very annoying... and i have had some previously as well, so now i have a town with lots of witches

In my experience the caved villager needs to be a farmer too... As soon as I gave him a composter the farm started working...
but I do not get it done with wheat - even when I (I think) carefully fill up farmers inventory.

I loved this! Just one question: I am planting wheat which might be the reason it is taking longer but my farmer isn't depositing anything? But the composter always fills? I did everything according to the tutorial, no flaws, is the issue the wheat?
hand him a stack or two of wheat and he'll start depositing.

Updated: Both villagers need to be farmers, otherwise they won't trade with each other.

Hello, it is only 1 cartography table, I put 2 for symmetry and to make it look better (I recommend using the cartography table), if it is normal, once the composter is full, the villager will try to exchange with the other villager and not they will be able to cross the fences and will go ahead of the hopper (Remember that the farm works with any crop, carrot, potato and etc...)

The farmer is not throwing food to the hoppers. Ive fed both villagers atleast 30 food each and traded with them both.

it is recommended to build a little away, at least 30 or 50 blocks, so that no other villager intervenes in the farm (You can also build it nearby, but just in case it is advisable to move away a bit)
