I was like number 1000 and It was oddly satisfying. It also makes me realise that somebody has liked for the millionth time, and that's just a lucky person.
Decked out is one of the best things created in Hermitcraft, if not in Minecraft.

I love how so many hermits are concerned for tango and look for excuses to get him out of the cave
Letting Grain near your complex redstone is a bold move after this past month
To be fair those are just the bus lines, all the real complicated stuff is at the end of the dungeon
@@-FutureTaken- To be even more fair, that was far more on Scar than it was on Grian. Having them do the room together would certainly have spelled disaster. I also didn't see any buttons around so probably safe.
@@sambuma No buttons, no noteblocks, and nothing you could throw a potato into (for now) so Tango's basement should be Grian-Safe as long as he hasn't let the monsters in yet.

Make sure you filter the signal input to the TNT dropper so certain hermits can't double boop the system. Don't be like Doc, in this one instance...
Yeah i was thinking the same but also i dont know how many key you find on the level i guess is not that many but better be safe than sorry
In other words, potato proof the input.
It Is the item that triggers the TNT, so you can press the button how many times you like, if you dont have a key in the chest it's not going to trigger it. It's already Scar Proof

You should make an armor stand skeleton by the treasure barrel, as if someone had gotten to it but couldn't get out, and maybe a sign from them saying "Don't try for this treasure, it be cursed." That way you can draw more attention to it and encourage people to go for it.
He'll most likely ask Cleo to do some armour stand work all around
Honestly, even like a drowned corpse floating face down in the water near that treasure barrel could be really cool

@@ashgcy That would be the hint, that you have to dive for it, that this dungeon needs. Clear and dark.
Tango, I am making my first ever youtube post to say this: You MUST put a cave diving warning sign up at the entrance to the cave dive. Look it up, it is a specific sign that is put up at underwater caves around the world and it would be the perfect finishing touch to that cave dive challenge you added in this episode!
I agree, and a second, identical one in the chest room as an "Aha!" moment if they look in through the bars. Otherwise, I don't think most people will connect the dots between the water pools being the access point. They'll see the chest room one and think, "Where have I seen that before?" but it might be another run or two before they rediscover the one up top.
This needs to happen, it makes sense both from an aesthetic standpoint and a game dev one

Yeah, there definitely needs to be more flagging/hinting so that the players aren't discouraged from believing that there is a way though.

Decked Out is an incredible project, and you can tell by the amount of "lub dubs" and "skadoodles" that Tango is slowly losing his mind in the process of making it. 😂

What if you make the water-logged stairs copper stairs in order to keep the theme of copper between levels.

I think there shpuld be more light in the drowning tunnel. People are still going to have trouble getting through, but the frustration of literal blindness won't make them give up
The lighting always appears to be darker In a CZcams video. It’s probably fine in game.

Yeah, I do kind of agree. I know it's supposed to be a difficult challenge for a great reward, but it just seems not worth the trouble at all. Unless Tango puts an incredible reward in there, I personally wouldn't bother with trying to get to the end and grab that chest. Maybe a little bit of ambient lighting to atleast light the "proper" path

It makes sense the entrance to the final level involves using TNT. The 3rd level is a mine after all, so they’d likely dig out tunnels with some TNT
Suggestion: Tango you should make it so as the TNT is dropping there would be an alarm with a voice saying "Danger, door is breached" or something like that. This makes the door much more exciting to open for the players.

This is a great idea.
I cannot wait to hear the total panic in the voices of the hermit's that start to take drowning damage and can't yet see the exit
In your deep dive you should have a few scattered chests that are garunteed to have a very minor reward. That way if the player gets to greedy and grabs the couple of whatever then they'll take extra drowning damage for certain and if they get too greedy.... death
This is a nice idea but they can just do multiple dives to get everything. Maybe there’s another way to distract them while diving?

Hmm, did Tango have depth strider on his boots while testing the water course? That would probably skew the results a fair bit

@@familytablet6453 he is actually bug testing currently, unless something has changed over the weekend. Granted it won't LAUNCH in August, and level 4 won't be completed til after August, he's just about done with it enough to consider launching it, and there's over a week left in August.

I don't know if your boots have depth strider, but double check the water part can be done without them! You were drowning faster, but if you were testing with depth strider, you were also swimming faster.

You should put out Bounties at the start of Decked out. Like first to reach level 4 gain a special artifact or so.
Since you've been using copper as the block to indicate moving from one floor to the next, you should add a layer of copper stairs to the waterlogged stairs near the basalt door.
Wardens are gonna love that explosion
Hey Tango! I think you should keep a layer of copper for the door to lvl 4, to make it more consistent with the doors so far. Maybe just a single ring, as long as its perfectly visible.
That door is so much fun, I love how Tango incorporates such amazing things into Decked Out
If you put a little control station in, it would look like the horse is controlling the clank card
It's crazy how this man balances his game within a game so much better than half of these triple a developers do
I like that Tango immediately toggles hit boxes on for the horse game
Last decked out, etho was the only one that really urilized the water dives frequently. I hope more people utilize em this time

Just wondering if you had depth strider on when you tested the cave diving part, because other hermits won't have that advantage and it'll be even harder for them
I noticed he also had speed boost, which I think affects swim speed as well.
Could put a ring of waterlogged copper cut stairs around the door. just so you have that door indicator consistent [Btw im obbsessed with this project and i cant wait for it to be done. Youve done absouluty amazing tango]
I love how it looks like the Hermits are taking turns luring Tango out of the dungeon to socialise and have some fun
Tango, for the deep dive, you should randomize some sections with pistons. That way no one knows for sure the way down. That makes it even harder. Otherwise people can memorize the way down and get the loot every time.
That would be cool, but if that is done, it probably needs to be a fair bit easier to make that fair.
I don’t think Tango reads the comments, but someone needs to tell him on stream to make an alarm go off and a recording of Scar’s voice warning of explosives being dropped when you put a key in for level 4.

So that swim section around 15 minutes in looks like it'll be a lot easier in swim mode, where it looked like Tango was just using crouch to descend because he was getting stuck on the edges of blocks, but I still think it's going to be difficult to not run out of air at all

You should definitely put at least a ring of the oxidized copper stairs around the breach zone, to keep the theme of copper between levels and make it obvious that it's the way forward.

He can not only think about great and amazing new ideas but also has a way of developing fun and creative ways for thier implementation. Hats off to him. I mean *Decked Out II* is gonna be the most amazing game within a game ever 🙌🏻

I think it'd be a really fun idea to have every hermit build a room in Decked Out, to really build that sense of community.
I watch most of the stream replays, and still I'm blown away by the update videos. This is insanity, and can't wait to watch it being played....like at least a million times! 🤣

You could add a card that gives conduit power for the run. Could explore some more underwater loot, maybe in the shipwreck area. Could be a one-time-use thing maybe.
I do love the door change, it makes sense they were digging (or I guess exploding?) Down to reach Level 4 so for the player to do the same is awesome.

Watching Decked Out 2 come together slowly over time is probably the most impressive thing I've ever watched on this platform.

I’d loved following along with decked out. Can’t believe it’s almost done!
With the current setup, I think a player can fall into the basalt pit, and get soft-locked, as they can't get out.
To further tempt the hermits, I suggest decorating the treasure room with a lot more chests and maybe some ore piles? Just to make it feel so much more tempting.
Loved the harmony start, I admire your determination with this project, its going to be super exciting to see hermits screaming and dying and shrieking hahaha. Its so beautiful that it's really a shame they wont have time to appreciate the builds with all the running and terror 😂

As excited as I am for Decked Out 2, seeing you ride your horse up those stairs in Deep Frost Citadel really makes me wish you'd live in it more! Maybe once the game beneath is complete you can start to focus on making the citadel above into a proper Minecraft mega base 🤓

You should have emerald near the entrance so they can notice it from the top floor of level 3. Also the tnt and basalt floor would be a really good hazard/trap area for level 4

Your Basalt door is going to give the player blocks they can place in your dungeon. Obviously, I'm sure the Hermits won't do so, but it's something to keep in mind.

Wouldn’t it possible to softlock if you fall in the hole without the level four door opening? It’s more than just one block so they can’t get out, right? I might be missing something though. Knowing the hermits, someone would fall in there without blowing up the floor.
And having a ladder would get blown up 😁, I guess they would have to suicide via Warden shrieks

So excited! I do think the dive will be too hard though. Tango knows the path and still struggled a bit. I know he wants them to take a little bit of damage, but it seems nearly impossible when you remember how panicked they're going to be already.
