- It's been almost three years since I did part 3 of my Crazy Disney World Guest Stories series and I'd say it's about time you got part 4! Most of these stories come from my experience as a guest, but I did throw in a few cast member stories - one I very intentionally left out last time.

If Walt Disney World tries to do roaming character interactions like Disneyland, I can only imagine the shear amount of times the characters will be getting mobbed. The princesses might have to be escorted by police in batons and riot shields. Lol.
Haha honestly! It's so interesting how differently the parks do character meet and greets. Because yeah, I don't think they'd be able to have the characters roam at WDW like they do at Disneyland!

I’m a CM too! I escorted John Stamos on the elevator twice while I worked at California Grill at the contemporary resort. He’s really nice. I sang in the candlelight processional at Epcot for a few years and sang with Neil Patrick Harris and Whoopi Goldberg. I also met Tina Fey while working a shift. Lol. My husband works at Epcot as a server and he served Scarlett Johansson when she ate at his restaurant. I love seeing celebrities! Lol 💙
That is so cool! Singing in the candlelight processional seems like it would be such an amazing experience!

Amber Camilleri Gioia yeah true. I hope she didn’t get in trouble tho... but I have seen her spend time with Ariel before on different CZcams videos and she’s always kinda been off.
@@nessierey6721 Oh my, her Ariel kind of ruins the magic to be honest... but she would probably be more fitting for other roles, like Anna maybe (cause she's very talkative, laid back and goofy)? I hope she didn't get fired tho...

Jack still meets at Disney world and he's one of the only characters who still wanders around a bit sometimes and once I actually got to run around Adventureland with him for about 10 minutes once because he wanted to do the pirate maps with me. Best character interaction he's amazing

Just commenting to say the story at the end made me teary as my sister who passed away last year had CP. It was a more severe version than I think what your sister-in-law's brother has as my sister couldn't talk at all not even with a lot of sign language. She knew some but not much..anyway that story of how they treated him just made me smile and get teary. So glad he was able to have magical moments like that.
First and foremost, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. I cannot imagine how difficult the loss must be for you and your family 💗 Yes, I would agree that he has a more mild form of it (I've volunteered before with Make-A-Wish and my wish child also had CP and used a computer screen to talk, so I can imagine the various versions, or severity of it). I feel like it's hard to fully understand what it's like when people show kindness to someone with a disability until it's your loved one. Being able to see how much joy those small moments brought him throughout the day was so sweet!
The last time I went to Disney was very long ago in 2010 when they had just started renovating Fantasyland. My little sister who was 8 at the time had been looking for Belle all day, and on our way out of the park we looked through a door and saw her yellow dress. We went to the line to meet her and she was talking to the attendant about how Belle was her favorite princess and she wanted to meet Belle all day, but by the time we got let into the room to meet Belle her shift was over and she had left. We ended up meeting three other princesses, but my sister was disappointed she missed Belle. As soon as she left the room she started crying. But, the character attendant ran out after us. She knelt down to my sister and said Belle had to go to the castle to do something for the Beast and was very sad she couldn’t meet my sister. The character attendant then gave my sister Belle’s autograph. It made her so happy! This is one of the only Disney moments I remember since I haven’t been in so long, and it was quite small but meaningful.
Awww that is so sweet! And so nice of the attendant to do that for your sister!
When I went to Disney over the summer, we were riding splash mountain and then it broke down and we sat in the ride for like a half hour, and then we all started singing Disney songs and it was so funny! So the cast members finally released us from the rides and we got to go in the "behind the scenes exit" But not only that they gave everyone who got stuck on the ride 2 more fast passes for atractions of their choice, so that was a really magical moment!
That's so cool! One time I was on Splash Mountain when it broke down and got escorted off right at the boat scene at the very end, it was so cool!
my crazy experiences as a guest myself
1. We got to Animal Kingdom really early in the morning, and I was able to see Pocahontas walking to her little area. I said wingapo to her but I guess she was just so focused on starting her shift on time
2. Aladdin and Jasmine were not very interactive with me, which I find odd because the guy who was hanging out with Aladdin that day has also been seen in several videos and is usually full of energy. I think they were just a bit uncertain of how to handle a teenage fan. They were mostly just talking to each other, something about Abu. It was still a great part of the trip and the 3 of us took some great photos together, but I was surprised, ESPECIALLY with Aladdin...
3. This one was from my 2018 trip, but it's still one of the most magical memories. Me, my mom, and my friends were watching the fireworks in front of Cinderella's castle, and we were all singing along to the music. When "Out There" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame started playing, I sang along at the top of my lungs just to flex my obscure Disney knowledge. Near the end of the song (around the part where he says "old and bent, I won't care") a random cast member walks up to our group singing just as loudly as me. He looks over at my mom and says "see? She loves it!" then he looks at me and said that I should really work for Disney and just typing this is making me cry because that is the most amazing example of Disney magic!
4. A squirrel ran up one of the escalator-ramp things in Tomorrowland, and it was pretty dang funny
(and side note: people who shout the P word during the Frozen sing-along have a special place in hell set up just for them. I'm just sayin')
What's the "P word" in this context? Why is it used during the Frozen singalongs?

Captain Jack is still at WDW. I met him back in February before quarantine, and he was so much fun. I said I was a little nervous because he was one of my favorite characters and after I told him this he yelled out to the line of people behind me saying “YOU HEAR THAT? IM HER FAVORITE, NOT YOU! ME!!!” It was so cool. 🥰
I can share about the experience of being in the Paris park with my father who is a disabled veteran. We got a special card to get in to any ride without having to wait in line, everybody was so nice to him and gave us a wonderful experience. To see them treat him so nicely made everything so special. I'm so grateful we had the chance to go on that trip before our lives got so crazy now with the virus, and just wishing it will all be over so we can enjoy the US parks.
Unfortunately I’ve actually experienced an interaction with a cast member that wasn’t so magical.. however when a fellow cast member witnessed what was doing on, she turned the whole situation around and turned it into a magical experience. It was me and my partners last day visiting Disneyland. We were about to board Indiana Jones and requested to sit in the front (as it’s more comfortable or my partner). The cast member asked us to step aside( I assumed this was because we needed to wait for the next car to be in front) as we are waiting patiently, the next car rolls up and he puts others in the front row, turns to us, and starts laughing. He did this for the next 3 cars. Another female cast member comes up to us and apologized, put us in the front and told us if there’s anything she can do for us to let her know. I thanked her for her kindness and we enjoyed the ride. When the ride was over, she let us go AGAIN without us having to get out!!! We came back around after ride and surprised us with immediate fast passes to incredicoster!!! She was amazing and made us feel so much better!
That was so nice of the female cast member! I'm sad that the first cast member did that, but glad the second was able to turn around the situation and make you and your partner feel special!

Ahh this is just what I needed after my program got cancelled to motivate me to reapply after graduation. Thanks for always bringing positivity even in the time we are in now!

I love hearing/watching magical moments. Chewy spending time with your brother in law made me tear up

My family and I went to Hollywood Studios this past February for the sole purpose of going to Galaxy’s Edge. We also were in line for Rise of Resistance when it broke down, and we also got snacks and water while waiting in line which was awesome!! It did end up breaking down again once we were part way through it, so they let us come back later in the day through the Fast Pass line which was amazing. But that was so cool that you got to meet Rey!! She is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, and I really wish Disney World had a meet and greet for her! So awesome, though!!
Before Galaxy’s Edge opened, Thor and the Storm Troopers had a hilarious stand off in tomorrow land when I was there once and I still have photos from it.
I worked at the Carrousel in Disney World for my college program and the step sisters actually ride it (almost) every morning and bring a few kids or a family on with them. Such a cool moment to see!
That's true! I've seen Jasmine and Aladdin do the flying carpets before and I know Alice does the teacups sometimes in the morning too! I know they all do that first thing in the morning, so it was cool seeing them do things like that at Disneyland in an unscheduled way!
We saw the stepsisters riding the carousel at Disney World and it felt so special. My husband turned around and almost bumped Drizella as she was exiting the ride and we were boarding. He said “ohh I’m sorry excuse me!” And she replied “hummmph your pleasure” so snarkily. We were cracking up and will never forget it. 😂
When I went to Disney back in 2019, my mom, gramma, best friend and I had reservations at Be Our Guest for our last night. When my mom booked our reservations we missed the part where it said the restaurant was 2 dinning credits each so we only has enough for two of use to use our credits and had to pay for the other two meals which wasn't a big deal to us. When we got in our waiter was super nice and funny and we had many great conversations with us. Later on he came back and told us he talked to his manager and was able to take off one of our meals so we only had to pay for one. We were so grateful and we were not expecting that. We kept talking with him every time he came over and at the end of our meal he came back and told us he was able to take off both of our meals so we only had to use the dinning credits for the other. It was so magical and so unexpected! When we were done he escorted us out to the bridge that leads to the restaurant where we were able to watch Happily Ever After and that spot was amazing to see the fireworks! It was such an unforgettable experience and a great way to end our trip!
Wow!! That is so amazing and kind that the cast member was able to do that for you! How special! And really cool that you were able to watch the fireworks from there - that's actually where we watched the fireworks in my last story in my Part 3 video and I agree, it's such a great place to watch them!
One of Ariel's friends acts like that often. I've got videos too.
Yeah that's what I noticed! Part of me didn't want to share it but then I saw other videos and I was like welllllll 🤷♀️😂
When I went to Disneyland Paris with my parents and brother, and we went to a pirates of the Caribbean themed restaurant and it was connected to the ride so we could watch people going past and while we were sitting eating our food, then jack sparrow came in but we just arrived so I had to autographs and I was so excited and he came over to us and honestly he was one of the best characters we met while we were there!!
Oh that's so cool! I didn't know they had a Blue Bayou at Disneyland Paris too! That's one of my favorite restaurants at Disneyland!

One magical moment was being the Grand Marshals for the Celebrate A Dream Come True Parade at WDW. We actually missed the opening to the park due to our breakfast reservations and everyone was in a sour mood because we missed it. We were taking pictures in front of the train starting and a cast member came over and started asking me and my family how would Goody wave in a parade or the princesses. Then he asked us if we would like to be the grand marshals and lead the parade. We came back at the time we were told and the cast member surprised us with Mickey hats with all our names on them. We got to lead the parade and at the end of the route, we got out of the car and they had marked a special place for us to stand to watch the parade. All the characters came over to us and we had the best time. To this day, it is still my favorite Disney memory. ❤️

I’ve always wanted to be a part of the CP, but I have only been to Disney twice. Once when I was like 7 and I spent the whole time sick, and then last year on Spring Break we had won parkhoppers at a raffle so we spent one day in 3/4 WDW parks. Most recently, I got to meet up with a family friend who has done the CP like 3 times while she was attending Ralph and that was really fun :) It was nice to talk to her about the program and stuff. ALSO since I had never really experienced Disney, I wanted a pair of ears of course, specifically the Lion King ears sooooo bad. I asked like every vendor in Epcot and Animal Kingdom, and one CM managed to track down the inventory and see where they were being sold that day, so we rushed to the cart, saw the LAST pair. The CM, bless her soul, said that they were technically on hold, but it had been a few hours since the other people had asked and she was closing in a few minutes, so she let me buy them! Last pair in the whole entire park. Still one my most prized possessions 🥺
It sounds like so much fun to have different characters. I’m pretty spontaneous too so I would love getting to make up different stories for different characters. Also when you would hang out with Ariel did she ever have to sing to a guest?? I’m not a good singer and am trying to prepare to audition in a few years.
Ariel only sings during the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show, she doesn't sing in meet and greets :)
One of my favorite things I've seen at Disneyland was the time my friend and I saw Alice and the Mad Hatter ride the Tea Cups with some of the kids. The Mad Hatter also had a little plush tea pot in his sleeve that he would pull out and pretend to pour tea with! I love being able to see magical interactions like that in the park
Disney Magical Moments are some of the best. I would never expect someone to "give" me something, but it's sad that people do. That interaction with Ariel was very unique to say the least though! One of my favorite character interactions was years ago, Pooh and Tigger use to meet in the UK at Epcot and they literally tried to walk me off stage and "steal" me, it was hysterical.

I never knew you could see prince Eric and max at rare times. I love Eric so much. It would be amazing to see him. I’ve always wanted to meet him
You can actually meet Eric at Disney World more now than you could when I was working there! He meets regularly at the Bon Voyage breakfast (with Ariel, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider), and he meets during the Halloween parties now too!

When I was 4 years old I went to Disneyland, we went to see tinkerbelle. When we got there she was standing with I think her name was Vidia the fast fairy. When I got their signature Vidia saw my book (it had pictures of all the princesses) and out of the blue told me “Cinderella is very dumb.” I don’t know if she was in character or-. My parents were shocked.
That's interesting to note about Disneyland and Disney World characters- I saw Aurora just walking around at DL, but at DW, they're ALWAYS in specific places at certain times. Though Aurora did mention Figment to me- she was a bit vague about the name "Some would say he's a figment of the imagination!". The funniest thing about her was that she had an extremely prominent Southern accent, which I didn't think was allowed, lol.

I needed this today. I work at Disney World (Specifically Fantasmic) and I miss it so much. Hearing about the magical moments you've had makes me feel a little bit of magic. It was also nice to see the meet and greet wall and you meeting Jasmine and Aladdin after the show! Brought me a sense of "work magic" cause I miss my show so much!!

I've missed this series so much. I love hearing your stories of your Disney experiences. When I took my son, who has autism, to WDW when he was younger I would get a pass at guest relations for him so he wouldn't have to wait in line with so many people around him. The cast members were always amazing with him. You look great by the way! Congrats on your wedding too later this year! Me and some fellow actor friends from the theater are planning a trip to Disney World for August, hoping things will be better by then. Stay healthy and safe, Kenzie!!

I love hearing about or watching magical moments. I’ve been to WDW for the past 5 years during Christmas and on my last trip, I experienced a small magical moment but it was so super special to me and I still smile and blush every time I think about it (and I’m 17 lol)!!! Cast Members don’t know how big of an impact they make, no matter what age the guest may be!!💖
Very true! Sometimes I think they might even mean more to adults, because they can fully appreciate the intent!
Watching your video makes me reminisce on my DCP last year and all of the magical moments that I had the privilege of making or receiving💖 My most memorable one though was during last Easter! I worked merch in Frontierland and the BEST part about that location was the Country Bears! They would always be getting into mischief and made the days so fun. On Easter though, you could tell everyone was in such great spirits and so every time the bears came out they went straight over to our Big Al’s stand to hang out and to help us replenish the ice chests with drinks and ice. I even got to help create some entertainment for the guests when Shaker and I were playing catch with ice cubes and would try and count how many times we could throw them without dropping it. The character’s main role is obviously to make magic for our guests but that day they made magic for myself and the other cast members working with me 💖

I will never forget this magical moment. Our trip was planned and the day we flew down to Florida was the day Ellen’s Universe of Energy and The Great Movie Ride were officially closing. We ran to Epcot to complete Ellen’s then when we went to Hollywood Studios we stopped at guest relations to to fix an issue with our passes and the cast member asked what we were excited for today. We explained how we were going to head to Great Movie Ride (which had a 3 hour wait currently!) which would have basically been the end to the day. I had no idea cast members could handwrite fast passes out, but that’s exactly what he did for the 3 of us to go on Great Movie Ride. So thoughtful and honestly I will never forget it!
My husband looooves Stitch! The day we went to MK Stitch was hanging out by the flagpole on Main Street. Everyone could tell how excited he was while interacting with Stitch and Stitch grabbed his hand and tried to 'leave' with my husband! It made his whole day, he had a goofy grin on his face the rest of the day and still talks about it!

I'm so happy you added another video to this series! (: I teared up a lot during this video lol I LOVE MAGICAL MOMENTS! On my College Program, I worked at Spaceship Earth and I still remember this awesome little boy (his name was Dallin) and he was visiting Disney World with his Mom and Dad, and little sister. I was out front of Spaceship Earth in the Greeter position, and this was the position that gave us the most opportunity for making magical moments so I was always on the lookout to make one for someone! So Dallin's Mom came up to me and she explained that they had a Fastpass for Spaceship Earth in a couple hours, but they also had a Dining Reservation and they knew they wouldn't have time to ride Spaceship Earth and be on time to their reservation. So she was just very politely asking if there was anything that could be done, so I said, "Well, I bet you'd have plenty of time before your dining reservation if you rode the ride right now!" She looked shocked for a second and quickly grabbed the rest of the family, Dallin's little sister was too young to talk, but I asked Dallin what his name was and took his hand as I escorted the family to the VIP Entrance and I explained to him that this entrance was very special and only Cast Members and Mickey Mouse himself knew about it, and Mickey told me specifically that when Dallin came to ride Spaceship Earth - he should go through the VIP Entrance! Dallin and his family were so excited, especially because this was Dallin's first time on the ride! And Dallin's Mom told me all about how much Dallin loves space and how excited he had been to ride this their whole trip! It made my heart so happy, and I had been rotated to a new position at the end of the ride, so I got to see Dallin again when he got off and he gave me a big hug and I asked him what he thought of the ride and his family was so grateful for something so simple! And I actually saw Dallin 3 more times during their trip, once at Spaceship Earth and twice when I was a guest and his family actually recognized me and it was so cool!

Wow! I loved all those stories! My family had gone probably 4 times in the past 10 year (even after ive been married lol) and we always have those extra special moments from cast members that mean so much to my family but would look absolutely normal to others. This video definaltly makes me want to plan another trip after all this pandemic stuff is over!

So this isn't a recent story but one of my favorite magical moments. One time during my CP back in 2016 I was in Hollywood Studios by myself (my friends and roommates were working) I was walking around the original Toy Story area ( where the Incredibles are now) feeling pretty down and lonely and a couple of Green Army Men were roaming around and came up to me and interacted with me for about 5 minutes. They played with my mickey ears and taught me to march and salute like them. It wasn't anything major but it meant so much to me and instantly made my day so much brighter. you're a great storyteller! so fun and engaging. i'm obsessed with your disney stories. a fun one for me was that my brother and i were riding space mountain in disneyland and the ride shut down while we were at the very tippy top. they turned the lights on so we got to see the entire infrastructure when it's not blacked out. we had to wait around 30 minutes and eventually had to exit the ride and walk all the way down the stairs from the top. rides shutting down probably isn't most people's definition of a fun time, but it was such a cool experience. the cast members were super sweet and accommodating. we got a bunch of snack vouchers and fast passes too!

These stories completely made my day! I was tearing up at the last one. Cast members are the BEST. On my college program, I was having a really hard time and luckily some of my friends came to visit. We did 4 parks in one day and when we were at DHS in line for Toy Story Mania, we asked a cast member something about how fast passes worked because we really wanted to ride all the main rides at that park. My friend and I get in the vehicle and she shows me a paper fast pass! He had sneakily handed it to her. When we looked back up at him to say thank you, he gave us a smile and said it was our little secret. It was so nice of him and we all got to ride Rockin Roller Coaster after.

The end of the video reminded me of when I went to disney world almost 2 years ago! I was in a scooter because I'd injured myself before the trip and could barely walk in my boot. It definitely wasn't the easiest to move around in but the cast members were so nice and patient with me and I did have one of those small magical moments were the cast members just let us go on haunted mansion instead of having to wait a long time and come back. It really is the small moments that make disney feel magical.
That is so sweet! I feel like it would be more challenging to navigate the parks with a disability, so it's really special to see cast members making the extra effort to make guests feel special!

I just did a video a few days ago about celebrities I saw at Disney and I mentioned for two of the celebrities that they were very short 😂😂😂 You’re probably right with “I think a lot of celebrities are shorter than we think” 😅
Oh my gosh, being a new(ish) Disneyland local I have SO MANY stories! My favorites are the personal connections I’ve made with character performers. Dale once taught me how to sign “I love you” and now it’s sort of like our little code when we see each other. We’re also on a hugging basis with the Evil Queen (not too many can say that!) and on our anniversary she went out of her way to spend SO much time with us and even met with us a second time to get perfect photos in front of the castle as she was leaving! Also 100% stand by Disneyland being the better Fantasmic, although Mickey doesn’t do the dance properly!

I just finished up making magic there... making magical moments were my favorite! I worked at the All Star Resorts and we had a family come to stay with us from England. They ended up staying for a few weeks and we all got to be on a first-name basis. The youngest girl in the family absolutely loved Pascal, so every time they would come home from the parks I would let her know that Pascal had been looking for her during the day. It ended up becoming a daily thing so at the end of their trip I was able to surprise her with the cutest Pascal pin. I miss making magic! My second favorite magical moment was that I was at the parks on my little sister’s birthday. She was turning 15 and having a little bit of a rough day just because I wasn’t home to celebrate. I ended up going to the parks to have some characters wish her a happy birthday over video and it turned out so well! ♥️ Doing those little things can change someone’s day so easily.

My siblings and I got to ride on the carousel with the stepsisters! That's a moment i will never forget! They are insanely entertaining and fun. We got to stand in line and chat with them!! We are going three times in the next year and im so so excited!

All my Disney memories were at Disneland Paris because I'm form Belgium and I never got to go to another park.
A very good memory I have was back in August of 2019, I was in Disneyland with my best friend for two days, and the second day we decided to watch the afternoon parade. It was late August, at the end of our stay, so we were exhausted and it was blazing hot. We decided to watch the parade at the end of its route, which means we were right next to the exit doors, which is an amazing spot. They hav installed a little area there that's defined by ropes, it's in the shade and there's a bench. Since there were ropes, we asked the Cast Member who was there if we could sit on the bench, and she told us that unfortunately, we would have had to book a spot in the morning when we arrived in the park, which I didn't know was possible. We then sat on the floor in the shade and she sat down with us. We talked about what it was like to be a Cast Member and she introduced us to her friend who was on the street directing people before the parade passed. We have a very funny video of him dancing to the parade soundtrack and you can hear her making fun of him in the background. It is one of my favourite memories and I still remember their names, even though they didn't really do anything in particular, they were just really friendly and funny.
Another really good memory I have is from two years before that, at the Captain Jack's restaurant. I was there with my godmother and my grandmother (who's a very energetic person by the way) and our waitress was super friendly and we talked with her for ages after finishing our meal, and at some point she was like "I should probably go, or else I'll be in trouble" because she stayed for so long. I also remember that during that meal, the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, that goes through the restaurant, broke down. To repair it they had to light everything up, because it usually is a very dark restaurant and attraction, and you could see maintenance Cast Members in full gear walking in the water to resolve the problem, and the guests on the ride would wave at us. It was really interesting to see how they deal with a breakdown even though we weren't technically on the ride, even if it isn't really part of the magic.
That same year, I got to meet Captain Jack Sparrow, and his meeting point was right next to the stage were the Star Wars show was happening at the time. As I was with him, an explosion happened in the show (because it was supposed to), but we didn't expect it. We both jumped out of our skin and he started shouting towards the stage in a perfect Captain Jack fashion, telling them to make less noise. It just made the meet and greet more special and really funny, and I think I'll never forget it.
Those are all such wonderful memories! I got to work with Captain Jack Sparrow once as a character attendant (on Halloween too!) and it was SO much fun! I absolutely loved it!

A magical moment for my dad, sister, and I was last summer and my sister and I were visiting my dad for the summer and it was the only time we were going to Disney. For some reason our tickets on our magic bands were not working so we were struggling all day with our tickets so when we got to Epcot, we went to guest services, my dad spoke to this cast member about how frustrated he was since going to Disney was our surprise. And the guy felt bad and wanted to do something special. We were given extra fast passes, and an extra ticket to go to Disney world again that summer. It was so cool
