I have hated every Stihl I have ever used ! My chainsaw is a Husqvarna Rancher 455 that I bought over 15 years ago and has been in the shop twice. My backpack blower is a ECO PB-403 that I bought 'open box' at Home Depot around 30 years ago, it has been in the shop ONCE, I love the curved tub that used to be on all blowers years ago and the original padding is still in great condition. It's powerful enough and I know I can count on it ! My string trimer is a Tanaka TBC-250PFL Extra long shaft that is 6' 10" overall I bought over 10 years ago. It has also only been in the shop ONCE and is my favorite string trimer of all time since I started doing lawn care full-time some years and part-time some years starting the late 80's. Too bad it was discontinued soon after I bought it. It's the only one my favorite equipment dealer ever had😢😢😢😢😢😢😢. If I needed to buy a new string trimer it would likely be a RedMax because I like them for the most part and I have a 30+ year relationship with my local Toro/RedMax dealer spanning two generations of the family that owned it for about 50 years .
