    Thanks for this. I'll just feel semi-stupid when I'm talking with the people at the r/c store. Seriously, this is a very good place to start for the basics.

    Razor RC.
    Nice explanation.
    I have made drones and now I want to make a RC car from a kit. Just for kids playing.
    Could you pls tell me what should I call for chassi, ESC, Motors etc on the ecommerce website while ordering?
    In what combination?

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  Před 4 lety

      Shreyas Mathuria if you want something cheap for kids, I would recommend a hobbywing quicrun 1060 ESC and a cheap 12T or 15T brushed motor. You could get an Arrma or Traxxas motor from a partout on eBay. Would go about 20mph and cost less than $50

  • @jefferychow4765

    I want to buy a beginner RC kit for my son and I to work on as an ongoing project.
    I know that cheap RC cars have steering that's discrete (full left, neutral, full right), which makes steering difficult.
    I see in your video that the steering is controlled by a servo. Can I assume that the steering in your car is continuous (ie varying degrees of turn)?
    If so, do all hobby RC kits have this better type of steering?

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  Před 2 lety +1

      yes, all hobby kits have "proportional" steering, which is infinitely variable steering. the ECX Amp MT is a good, $160 kit you can build that includes everything.
