I really never cry over books or movies or anything like that. But this movie was the only one I remember that had me with tears in my eyes at so many points. If you haven’t seen this I’d highly recommend it

well done. THE PROMISE stayed true to historical accounts. Scenery is beautiful, and actors are on point. The story is heartbreaking and this movie captured its essence throughout.

I really wish that the score for this film included the violin soundtrack that plays in the background when Mikael starts talking about his town and the same one that plays during his scenes with Maral when he returns from Constantinople. Great film and wonderful soundtrack
Update: I was finally able to find the same soundtrack through Shazam under the title "Hayastan Yerkir" composed by Hespèrion XXI, Jordi Savall, Haïg Sarikouyoumdijian, & Dani Espasa
Never have I heard a soundtrack so calm, pure, & as heavenly as this musical masterpiece. So happy to have been able to find it & listen to it again. Long live Armenia ❤💙🧡

Jesus Christ died for you and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior and also repenting of all your unrighteous and evil acts which are called sin, you will be saved through God’s grace and have a ticket into Heaven and be saved from the lake of fire which is Hell.
