  • Captain Ibrahim Traore Refuses To Step Down As Military Leader As Promised
Burkina Faso's President Ibrahim Traore is rapidly gaining trust and support not only within his own country but across the African continent, surpassing many other leaders in popularity. Just a few days ago, thousands of citizens took to the streets in protest, demanding an extension of Traore's transitional period, which was originally scheduled to conclude this July.
In a recent development, Burkina Faso's military leader has signed a new Charter that allows him to stay in power for an additional 5 years. This decision was made after national consultations on Saturday, May 25th, in the capital Ouagadougou. The talks involved civil society, security forces, and transitional lawmakers, although most political parties chose not to participate.
According to Colonel Musa Dialo, the chairman of the organizing committee of the national dialogue process, the transition period will last for 60 months, starting from July 2nd, 2024.
As the decision-makers deliberated in the conference hall on whether to extend the transition, an intriguing scene unfolded outside. The youth, who had initially called for the Captain to lead Burkina Faso for the next 10 years, soon made it clear that they would settle for nothing less than 5 years.
A spokesperson for the youth boldly stated that if the meeting concluded without securing at least 5 years for President Traore, they would insist on starting the meeting afresh. This statement, although light-hearted, carried a weighty message, as it was evident that the Burkinabe youth were resolute and would not back down.
Those in the conference hall understood the unwavering determination of the youth and the potential consequences of not heeding their demands. This strong show of support from the youth has further solidified Traore's position as a leader who commands the trust and respect of the people of Burkina Faso.
In the aftermath of the national consultations in Burkina Faso, a series of significant decisions have been made to shape the country's transitional period. For a more comprehensive understanding of this matter, here is a summary of the key innovations adopted by the participants:

There is no need to remove a leader who is satisfying his people’s needs. That is a basic human right! The masses of the world want leaders like him who puts his people’s needs first before anything else! May the collective power of goodness and his ancestors protect him from all the evils of this world! African leaders must take a lesson from him and support him!

Why would he "refuse to step down" when he's being voted in by their People to serve as their next president?!
He's not voting himself in; the People are voting him in!

He isn't interested in stepping down from leading.
      He's a good leader leading.
      He is not a King.
That isn't what he is, and he doesn't think of himself as that.
He thinks of himself as a leader.
      He's very good at leadership.
The People likewise know and recognize he's a good leader, and they want him to lead.

Good job Ibrahim Treore you stay strong. Take your enemy way out in the field, and leave them there when you double back and leave your enemies way out in the field lost wondering wherè you went.
I have a old lady friend who will turn 100 years old this coming September if Elohim see fit. SHE taught me that saying how to fool your enemy. Let them think your going one way. But never tell them where you really going. AND LEAVE THEM OUT IN THE FIELD WONDERING WHERE YOU ARE.
I loved that. Because her old wisdom helped me to win. 😂

Although I am not for military rule, there has to be exceptions. In this case, it seems the people support his rule. Also, it is clear that Ibrahim is protecting the interest of his country and it's citizen and therefore should continue for at least five more years before handing over control to civilian rule.

So try and honest as much as possible.
