I was in west Chester before the pandemic, visiting Philadelphia and I fell in love with it. I've always known about West Chester though through skate videos and Bam, jackass etc and being from LA I always said I'm going to make it over there and now I plan to move there.

I grew up in West Goshen. I graduated from East High School in 1992. West Chester was a really nice place to grow up.

@@Investing4Everyone My father lived there up until a few years ago and I still get to West Chester a couple times a month for my work. I am a Title Searcher and sometimes I need to go to the Justice Center to obtain copies of Estates or something I can not get online.

I live here and like it. The main downfall for me is that West Chester seems to be in the middle of nowhere.
Personally, I think it is in a great area, it is near Philly, near Lancaster, near Reading, near marsh creek, near KOP, and I could go on. I think it is the perfect area if you want to be within an acceptable distance of many other places
Exactly! I grew up around WC and when I got married and moved to Clinton/Potter County... other than Wmart, nothing is closer than 30 minutes away (that's if you're lucky) & add in gas prices being about $3.40-$3.50/gal... :/ makes ALL of ChesCo feel like I grew up with everything "SUPER close" now.
Nah its not in the middle of no where.
a friend rent s there on a delightful street. i would like to go with my family all around. restaurants excellent.

Marcee was in the senior living work force for over a decade and can tell you all about the great communities here.
Expect to pay $1600-$1900 for a 700 sq ft, simple 1 bedroom apt. It's not for the poor.

It took me a nunber of years to adjust to West Chester but I sympathize with your experience.
This guy doesn't know what he's talking about the college students are terrible and they do nothing but cause trouble and waste their parents money
We made a Pros v Cons video and living near the university was a Con! Definitely tough to make a blanket statement like that about the college kids too. My wife went there and she turned out amazing 🤣
