@@harryw3310 definitely. i would prefer reading it before anything else- the anime itself feels less raw than the manhwa, some things were left out (that arent incredibly important but still)
@@HardstuckIronAlaynac it's like any bit of media really ain't it, if we've read it first there's always gonna be even small details missed. Not necessarily impactful, but we knew they were there
@@harryw3310 You’re right, the anime can’t get everything down to a T, it’s just I recommend newcomers read it after/before watching. A lot of the livestream comments are like a cherry on top that the anime misses; plus, the manhwa is already finished.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting too much of this anime, I just gave it a try in the first episode and it caught mine attention, when a new episode drops I watch it right away, I didn’t read the manhwa also, so I don’t know anything.

I literally learned how to fight through CZcams videos, watching Howcast videos on Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Boxing, and a bit of FIghtTips, Micah Brock (Kwonkicker), and GingerNinjaTrickster. While I didn't win one particular fight against a bully who was harassing me, being bummed to tears afterward, I did continue learning how to fight, whereas I believe I could be able to defend myself, or hold my own for a bit in a fight. I train for the streets, not for a tournament. The streets are my ring, my octagon, and I will defend myself or my loved ones if I have to. I also wish they adapted "Holyland" into an anime, where a bullied nerdy boy by the name of Kamishiro Yuu, learns how to defend himself from delinquents and thugs on the city streets, starting with a 1-2 boxing combo he picked up from a book, practicing about 1,000 times to get used to it, picking up several techniques along the way as he's credited the name "Yankee Hunter". Can't wait to see more of these scenes!

Don’t try these moves
The moves Samdak teaches until some part of the show are effective in real life, obviously no with training one week or even 1 month
its exaggerated but overhand hook for example is an effective punch. wrestlers like khabib use it by faking a takedown then they throw that and knock people out
These moves work and it’s explained pretty well but self training for a month isn’t good enough
You mean moves like calf kick that literally changed the UFC because of how quickly it can end a fight, one of the most common punches which is overhand, them being constantly used in MMA, muay thai, kickboxing, boxing (overhand), in all fighting organizations that allow them, that are proven extremely effective? Yeah sure don't try them lol, train before you comment mate

I know people are overhyping it,but this is a worse version of the webtoon,animation is still image fights with effects,the same of moving around,the models look off sometimes,just go read the manhwa/webtoon at this point,it has some of the most beatiful arts of modern society in terms of art,I didnt even wanted the same artstyle as it wouldnt work,but atleast decent animation......
