Out with the really old, in with the new

We're making our water better, safer and more reliable! 💦 Near W. Bijou Street, we're upgrading 1,100 feet of water main. The current water mains date back to 1911 and 1952 and are 4-inch and 6-inch cast iron pipes! The new and improved pipes will be made of 8-inch PVC. Construction on the project started at the end of November and is expected to wrap-up in mid-February.
