True, but that is just the first lesson, The second lesson is how to deal with the alledged disrespect. He could have gone to management about the issue, he could have confronted the man and asked him why he ate his food, or IF he even ate his food in the first place. Sadly, for everybody involved, he chose to take the extreme route, and now there are extreme consequences -- one man is dead, and he is going to spend a great deal of his life, if not the rest of his life in prison.

i could never understand why some folk steal others lunches. you don't even know what they mix in it . but i used to spend summers at my grand parents' with cousins. they be stealing people's stuff left and right we were always in fights because of stolen biscuits, cakes , bikes etc. some folk are raising differently i guess

Had my lunch stolen before, I understand. Cooked spaghetti, brought a big bowl to work. Put it in community fridge. It was nowhere to be found at lunchtime, stole container and all. Some people are trash but not worth taking a life.

Let this be a LESSON TO ALL OF US, a shocking reminder to always think about the possible consequences to your actions‼ It's easy for some folks to come here and make judgmental comments about the situation and speak as though one's better than the other. The fact is, this could've happened to anyone in a similar circumstance... I've seen many wish death unto others (make death threats) for way less. I'd love to get the other side of the story as well for better context. Personally I don't think there's any justification for this murder but there's unknown variables to take into consideration to better understand why/how this happened.

Years ago my aunt from another country moved in with me. I went on a date one night and had a chicken and rice meal left over i put it in the fridge and the next day i go to warm my food up just to find out my aunt picked out all my chicken and left the rice.
