There's quite a well known video about the Azores that we watched, it mentioned a cat tax on the Azores. Have you found this to be true? Thanks love your channel!

@@lifewithrosie03 Sure, in Anton Somewhere's video on the Azores he mentioned that if residents of the Azores had cats they had to pay an extra tax because the cats were killing too many birds. Anyways it sounds like maybe he misunderstood some information for his video. Thanks for the answer, we are currently doing research for moving to the Azores so I was super curious about the cat tax topic lol.
@@nicolehagen7570 ahhh no. I have two. I don't pay tax for them. There is a law that we have to register them at the parishes office. But it has nothing to do with that. That's not true.

@@lifewithrosie03 so funny! We’ve been all over the island. I was born here Vila Franca but moved to America when I was 6. My parents retired and moved back here. So we visit. we leave tomorrow at 11am.

Hi Rosie another beautiful video keep it up the good work and Rosie just to let you know about you telling me your. your grandpa family name the name tells me something but not sure i think when i was there before coming to Canada people by the name that lived in Rua da Cruz my mom brother that lives there is near the place that used to be o alambico and a long time ago he had a store na carreira for sure someone from your family must remember my mom or her family i have a cousin that has a construction company in Vila Franca but the next time that i speak to my uncle (good father) i will try to see if he knows how to explain it to me thank you keep up with you😂 ❤
We used to live on Rua da Cruz. My grandpa has a piece of land at the very end of that street. My mom probably knows who your family is. Thanks for watching 🥰
