Gardeners are a pretty thrifty bunch and it’s in the garden where repurposing old items into new really comes into its own.
From transforming tins into planters to repurposing old furniture for storing produce, there are countless ways to put worn out or unwanted items to good use in the garden.
In this short video we’ll share some of our favorite garden upcycling ideas.

I turned my old barbecue into a vegtrug great for herbs and saved me loads of money on buying one.
Old carpeting is great for keeping weeds down in paths or to create new gardens.
I'm 47 and new to growing anything. I loved this video. I could have watched it for hours. Some fantastic ideas
I have garlic planted in my kids old turtle sandbox. Also going to plant strawberries in my kiddie pool this year. I grew potatoes last year in the huge colored round totes we used to use for toy boxes.
My kid’s old plastic pool is now my zucchini garden raised bed.
I’ve seen city dwellers use kiddie pools on the tops of flat roof buildings for gardens, great idea!
Very clever ideas! I think the apple storage dresser could also work for potatoes
So much information! I will have to watch this several times to get it all thank you! ☘️☘️☘️☘️
I’ve used a curved shower door and a straight shower door to build two cold frames. The curved door is ideal as the allotment is close to the sea and its aerodynamic shape is ideal for deflecting high winds which we get quite frequently (+50 mph)
Fun video. Far more enjoyable to upcycle and make use of something that would otherwise be landfill, than to buy something. Some great ideas - like the old furniture opened up and used for apple storage.
Just landed here! Lots of cool ideas for my garden. I especially love that awesome rooftop sculpture!
Awesome ideas. I’ve used a few myself. Keep repurposing!
This has been the most helpful video so far. Thank you for all the easy, reusing ideas! You are inspiring!
Excellent info on using pallets for projects.
I bought 50’ of snow fencing and cut it horizontally in half to have 100’ of short garden fencing. I painted it a lovely color and had an attractive garden area for cheap.
I love this!
Amazing video! ♻️
Your Channel is so enjoyable. Thought I had viewed all episodes, but here's yet another very creative one :)
some cool stuff there, pallet ideas are great esp the planter , im doing a pond on allotment using old recycle bins and using our willow shelter as a cold frame using old bricks and poly cover
used all the off cuts of breeze blocks, bricks and other materials to build very interesting paths around the beds. Greatly admired by all visitors
