We should all connect with the people we love at every opportunity we get and especially if there is potential danger involved. Some guy and his wife had lunch a couple months ago, and departed with an "I love you," and 15 minutes later, she was struck on her bike and killed. No matter how many safety regulations there are, and Hans, and Halos, and safety cells, F1 remains a dangerous sport.

The fact that F1 drivers are on Vanity Fair as a squad like this, tells me that the sport has made huge leaps in popularity - this is great for the sport.
The Netflix series Drive to Survive is arguably the catalyst for F1's massive surge in popularity in recent years.
F1 is super mainstream right now that it's the big 3 sport of the world can be Football(soccer)-Basketball-F1 in short time.
F1 has always been more influential than vanity its the other way around

I've heard a few fighter pilots express their admiration for the abilities of F1 drivers. Years ago I remember someone asking a pilot, "Why do you rate F1 drivers so highly? You go so much faster and can pull higher G's." The response was along the lines of, 'But they pull incredible G's through virtually every corner, and they do it a few inches off the ground.'
Big props to Lando for being transparent about the help of professional psychology, idk why more people don’t acknowledge it, especially in sport! It’s as important as going to the gym to train your body!

Sports psychologists aren't really taboo anymore in f1. Not sure about others though.
In one Lando podcast interview, he said “the mind is the athlete, the body is the vehicle” ! I love his approach
Romain Grosjean talks about it very openly in French tv since 2011/2012 I Always thaught He was brave, talked about the frequent crashes and how he tried with his shrink to avoid them and stuff like that, really into admitting his fault. We need to know more about psychological training for sure.

Pierre's advice hits harder when you know how many times he's been told by both fans and other people in the industry that he's not good enough to have an F1 seat.
He's a racewinner so fck'em all..
RB came to soon in his development and may just not have been the best fit for him. Max is just a supertalent to have won in his first race for the team, but literally everybody since then has had adjusting issues - rookies and even Perez.
For now it seems as if Perez has enough credit for two more seasons, and I don't know if Pierre is willing to stick with AT for that time..
But can we talk about how AMAZING he did keeping Hamilton at bay at the Imola GP?
They told him that because they wanted to push him to his limits and see up to where he can get... If you see him now, you'll get what I mean. He may not be the best of the racers but he's still good. Not just good, he's exceptional to me💯.

Guess when you’ve been doing it all your life there must not be much adrenaline flowing before lights out
I've heard its quite common for surgeons to do it. The caffeine takes 20mins to kick in, so if you can nap in that 20 you have the ulimate pick me up!

Ocon looks like a really, grounded-mind nice guy. Never showed too much, but every little time that I see him, its like he have zero ego of being one of the fastest drivers on earth.
He has an episode focused on him in the new drive to survive, recommend you watch it if you haven’t already because he comes across like a super humble guy who appreciates his family.
