I was just wondering why you did not drill out the end of each crack? I am sure you have good reason , it is always good to learn something from you as it is real world work.
1st, The bed floor is made of hardox 450 wear plate, so a drill bit won't even penetrate it. I'd just smoke/melt my drill bits trying. 2nd, the plate was already so thin, I just cranked amperage up high enough to "keyhole" the crack and used whip&pause technique to get a light root in. Once I had the root, I just started covering it up

@@NAWeldingandFab many thanks for the reply, you do great work, keep it up.
You don't spray paint over your worked area there sir
That's because I'm a welder with nothing to hide and not a painter.
You would make more sense if you said dog "ear" and wedge....
Maybe in your part of the world, but we just call them dogs in my part of the world
You don't actually show anything. It's like here is a crack *jump to the end* it's fixed. It is very boring to not see anything.
Working on getting a real camera to set up. Spatter and sparks are rough on my phone
I guess you don't know how wedges and dogs work
At this point that is the most expensive chain lock on the internet
