    • @ericgapit1695
      @ericgapit1695 Před 8 lety +13

      +Akaji Blubb as long as you have 70% incline power of bench and at least 50% overhead then your strength is proportionately normal. these guys are genetically blessed giants plus they take 100x the clinical dose of testosterone for strength. That's healthy compared to the stacking bodybuilders use today hence palumboism or acromegaly roid gut and the like. Do ur workouts regularly and don't diet away ur muscles. Eat when hungry so u do ur workouts regularly for years. Consistency pays when training natural and you'll thank me when you hit ur 60s. my peak was 45. peace

      @bengough6772 Před 8 lety +1

      +Akaji Blubb I work in a gym in Wales, it is nearly everyone's weakest compound (apart from guys who don't squat) you have to really prioritise shoulder press training to get it to truly go up. Also maybe buy some 0.25 and 0.5kg small weights so you can increase very gradually and not hit plateaus as much :)

    • @akajiblubb2401

      Ben Gough
      i actaully did improve. im doing 60kg for 3 reps and as many sets as i can for the day. i do it after heavy bench though. never maxed out on it or as first exercise .guess im having also a bit of respect since its indeed abit dangerous. im also heavily working on my shoulder mobility and do yoga and stretches on my free days. i recognized the three big lifts are true privileges, where you really need more work than muscles. i am a bit stiff in my back so my DL will profit in the long run if i improve my mobility. everything is connected. thanks though :) i wish i had some micro weights haha. maybe i buy them. bought captains of crush grippers, which are very expensive in germany

      2016 will be crazy. Eddie's a fucking beast now, Thor's going for his first win, Brian's defending his title (though statistically, he'll lose it) and Z's going for that record equalling 5th. I kind of want Z to win it, he deserves that record, and the last 5 years has been Z and Shaw alternately. The Arnold will be interesting too.

    • @timoe1149
      @timoe1149 Před 8 lety +5

      if you say Eddie will podium this year and you say it on the second to last day of the year, you are probably late :) but joking aside, we are entering into a magnificent era with Hall, Shaw and Thor. Hall didnt seem focused in this competetion, and he has been a one trick pony with his deadlift. Shaw and Thor are better all-rounders. But Eddie is developing so fast now and is still very young, injury-free he will have 10 more years. The nice thing is that big Z and Hollands will still be competing in 2025 :)

    • @gainsandglory6808
      @gainsandglory6808 Před 9 lety +23

      terrormonkey1 Just because he won it more does not make him superior to Z. Z has that brute strength and power, Pudzianowski had that explosive power. Hard to say who was better. I think if Kaz was still young, they would both have had a run for their money :).
      But what i mean when I say winning more doesn't make him better is that some years, the events are stacked in the favor of one man in particular. If it was more speed and timed events, guys like Hapthor and Pudz would have a lot more of an advantage. If it was events like deadlift and squat for reps, OHP medley and log etc. Big Z would prosper.
      There is no strongest, it just all has to do with how the events are stacked, and whether the athlete is in their prime etc. There are a lot of factors and they are all stronger at some type of event than another. That's why I love watching old replays of Kaz because he seemed good at EVERYHTING.
