Fisk!!
Wow. The equal temperament sounds great with this instrument. A little disturbing at times...but
It’s not equal temperament, it’s polychromacy (two completely different things)! 🤦♂️ why does everyone make this make.
@@thatoneweirdkid7385 It literally says "31-tone equal temperament glass marimba" in the description...
@@thatoneweirdkid7385 This is not how this works. Equal temperament is a tuning system, polychromacy a style.
@@alderankorym Regular marimbas are in equal temperament too...12 tone equal temperament. It's the fact that it's 31 tone that makes it unusual sounding.
12 and 31 are both meantone temperaments, but 31 is much much more accurate
Totally off tune, isn‘t it?
No. It’s microtonal. There are multiple individual notes in the space where we would expect 1 or 2. Additionally, it’s tuned as “equal temperament” which will make some intervals sound different to what we would expect. But it’s not off key or out of tune; just different from what our modern ear expects.
nah lol just doesnt follow the 12 note system
you must be stupid to say this aren't you?
on purpose
